This product is absolutely life-changing. Due to the medication that I take, my hair was a disaster. No matter how much I spent on different conditioners, nothing worked. This hair tool has added volume and conditioned my hair like nothing I can even explain. Everyone notices the difference in my hair. It works absolutely fantastic and I recommend this product with 10 stars! The price tag is hefty, but in my opinion, it is totally worth it. It is the only styling tool you’ll ever need.I have used the competitor’s product and I can tell you that this is a much much better styling tool in this price range.

This is my first experience with a high-end blow dryer. I was already a fan of Shark brand products, though.I think there is somewhat of a learning curve if you have never used something like this before. The large cards with pictures are good for the very basics, but I also used the QR code to review the video. Also when you go into the QR code, there are more specifics for each attachment.The plug is enormous. Don't plan on fitting anything else in your outlet at the same time. Meanwhile, the cord is really long which is helpful! My old dryer would always get pulled out of the wall when I was trying to move around with it.Attaching the tools is easy - just line up the arrows and twist. Similarly, turning the base when using as a dryer and also closing the straightener paddles just takes a click and a twist. I like the colored light to let you know when ready to use. The main power button makes it clear what is for wet hair and what is for dry. And I also like being able to adjust the air flow and temperature with just one button each.The first time I used it, I just used the dryer to dry till damp (per instructions). I didn't realize at the time that you could adjust the heat level, so I don't think I was using it hot enough for soaking wet hair. I then followed with the straightener, and I appreciate that once your hair is fully dry, you can turn off the (loud) air flow and just use the straightener like any other kind. I then tried to follow with the flyaway tool, but I didn't really understand how to use it. However, my hair was left straight and not frizzy despite not using a round brush at all.The second time I used this, I started with wet hair and the brush attachment, which was amazing. My hair was dry in literally two minutes. I have tried previous brush dryers (cheaper brands), but this one is far and away better - it truly gives volume and sleekness. I then followed with the straightener and again tried the flyaway attachment - this time I did realize you need to have it on the dryer with the dryer turned (not on the base straight up like how you attach the brush or straightener), but I still don't quite have the hang of it. If I am using it properly, it is too hot against my head. I will look for some videos to see if I can figure it out.After a total of 10 minutes, I am thrilled with how my hair looks. And I think I can easily cut that 10 minutes down once I am more accustomed to changing attachments, which ones work best for me, etc.I am not sure how they claim no heat damage when the product heats up? I might look into that further.Obviously the price is a lot. This would be a splurge for most people. I guess the only thing I can say about that is that if you are into high-end tools and were already going to spend on a dryer and a straightener and a curling iron, then it might not end up costing much more to have all the pieces in one.

Can't believe this works on my hair! I have thick course coily hair (african american). But I have a keratin treatment. I don't want to use damaing flat irons every day, as I'm getting older and my hair seems more fragile. I've tried a less expensive brand of air styler tools and it did not work for coily and frizzy hair. I've been using the Shark Glam for just over two weeks now, and it's awsome. I can blow dry my hair almost completely straight with the glossi air glosser and it leave great volume. I can use the silky air straightner to smooth and straighten or even curl my hair. This is combo is most effective for me. I do not need to flat iron my hair for several days afterward. I am still getting used to the air curlers. The curls don't seem to last long in my hair so I'm going to keep trying different techniques and see if i can't use those tools more. Overall, the Shark Glam keeps me from using my most damaging hair tools.

The round brush attachment does a fabulous job at drying hair, but it’s very expensive for the other pieces to not be much use. I tried everything and the curls do not hold. The straightener attachment is very awkward to hold and use. I returned mine because it just wasn’t worth the price you pay.

Happy birthday to me!!! I have VERY THICK, and LONG hair. This things is the best hair tool I’ve ever used. Kinda feel like the attachment tools could be a bit better quality… feel very “3D printed” if that makes sense. But what do I know! I would still buy as a gift time and time again.
