My cat thought he was paying rent with attitude, because every time I turned around, he was clawing up my couch like it was his personal scratchpad. I’d tried double-sided tape, covers, you name it—but he’d just pick a new corner. I sprayed this stuff on the usual war zones (sofa arms, the rug edge, even the curtain hem he secretly chews on), and for once, he actually backed off.The scent is citrusy with a hint of herbal kick—almost like someone spritzed lemon water with rosemary. Not overpowering, just enough that my cat clearly wasn’t vibing with it. He did the classic “sniff and retreat” move, then looked back at me like I’d broken a secret agreement. I didn’t even have to reapply constantly. A few sprays in the morning lasted all day.What I really appreciated was that it didn’t stain my beige furniture. No weird residue, no oily spots—just a clean spray and done. I also tried it near the bedroom door where he marks sometimes (yes, my cat is petty). I picked up this deterrent spray after my new kitten decided the living‑room couch was her favorite scratching post. I’ve tried double‑sided tape before, but it looked messy and didn’t cover all the spots she liked. With this spray, I can hit problem areas quickly without leaving sticky residue.The scent is noticeable at first but it fades fast for me while still seeming to bother the cat. I spritzed the corners of the sofa, the rug edge, and a curtain hem she kept batting at. After a couple of repetitions over two days, she started avoiding those spots and moved to her scratching pad instead.One bottle goes a long way. I give each target area a light mist every few days, or right after cleaning, and that’s enough to keep her away. The fabric on the sofa hasn’t discolored, and there are no greasy marks on the curtains.

This stuff has been working so good! I sprayed it around the garage when a male cat had been marking his territory after cleaning it up. It got rid of the smell and odor and instead of it drawing the other cats in, now they stay away. I don't know if they just don't like the smell but I think it smells kind of good. We also used it in the house around the plants and now our indoor cats don't go anywhere near them!

Our cat had been scratching the sheets at the head of our bed and the corners of our sofa. After using this spray for just two nights, she completely stopped those behaviors. Now she simply walks past the sofa and goes straight to her scratching post. I am not sure whether the spray alone caused the change or if she just decided she preferred the scratching post, but either way, the result has been great. It was definitely worth trying for the peace of mind it gave us and the protection it provided for our furniture.

I have indoor cats, and there are items that I do not want them on - like my plant stand and my jewelry stand. This spray lets me choose where to keep them away from, and the vet said that it won't hurt them, even if they lick it. She said that she uses one similar to this to keep her patients from licking around wounds that do not need bandaged, and areas where they are licking the hair off.It's working really well. It smells nice and the cats don't try to sit on top of my jewelry armoir any more.

We had a problem with one of our cats marking the same spot over and over again. I sprayed this on the area after cleaning it thoroughly and it really helped stop the behavior. I’ve been using it around corners and furniture where I’ve seen issues before and no more problems so far. It smells good and hasn’t caused any irritation or stains. I’m using it daily and feel more confident leaving my cat alone in the house now.

The spray head is very easy to use, and you can spray evenly with a light press. The texture of the spray is very fine and will not leave water stains. You don't have to worry about damaging the furniture when spraying it.And it smells very fresh, not the pungent and unpleasant chemical smell, and it smells very comfortable. Spraying on sofas, carpets, curtains and other places where cats like to destroy will not make the house full of strange smells.Since using this spray, cats seem to be less "interested" in these places, and no longer scratch or urinate at every turn. Now the furniture at home is much "safer", and I can worry less.
