I've been taking a Myo- and D-Chiro Inositol supplement for nearly 8 years. It has helped balance and regulate my cycle. I wanted to try this powder and found it to be just as effective as my regular one. However, for the price I can't justify continuing with this specific product since I didn't find it to be any different than my typical, lower priced, supplement. It mixes well and has very little taste, but unfortunately the cost of a 15 day supply is too much for me.

I am really enjoying this supplement thus far. I am past having children, and at the tail end of my childbearing years/ nearing perimenopause. I had my son in my 30's, 4 years ago, and since then, I've just felt off like I haven't recovered in quite the same way that I did with my daughter in my 20's. While I am done having children, my body hasn't realized this so I feel I need to do more to support my hormone levels. My acupuncturist recommended looking into a Myo & D-Chiro Inositol supplement like I used to take to help feel more balanced. I was like, "Oh yeah! I used to take that and loved it!" So while I'm not taking it specifically for fertility, I do need it for the fertility-supporting effects and to help my body chill a bit.I've tried many 40:1 myo & d-chiro inositol supplements and this one ranks toward the top. I do like a pill version to make my routine quicker, but honestly really love the idea of the powder form too because there are times where it feels like I'm doing nothing but taking pills and prefer to open up my capsules and add to a daily shake/ smoothie, and this version really helps cut out a step. The scoop makes it easy to measure out. The quality seems great! It does feel effective. My cycle is still very regular but I've noticed subtle improvements elsewhere. It does not cause any stomach upset for me, and I feel like it's pretty neutral tasting but in all honestly, I've only ever had it in my daily protein shake. My acupuncturist reminded me that inositol helps regular blood glucose and can help improve sleep quality, so I need to switch it to before bed and see if I notice any sleep quality improvements.I also really like the fact that they use a methyl folate vs. a folic acid. Many of us have MTHFR mutations and don't do well on folic acid, and need more folate. I'm overall very pleased with this product.

My experience with this supplement has been positive overall. Although I did find it odd upon opening (this did come fully sealed) that the container was only about 1/3 full. This seems like quite the waste of plastic and makes the jar that much bigger when it comes to storage, of which for supplements I am somewhat limited. There is a plastic scoop included inside for easy dosing, which was appreciated.The supplement itself is a powder form that dissolves quickly and easily and has a mild and neutral sweet flavor that is not unpleasant. I very much appreciate that this is a non-GMO supplement that is made here in the US, although it would be nice to know where the 'globally sourced ingredients' are actually from. I do like that the vitamin D is sourced from lichen.For the current cost of $30 a container for a two-week supply I find this to be slightly on the higher side in cost value comparatively to similar supplements but still a fair price.

After taking this powder for a few days, I started spotting and releasing some small, bloody-muscus looking globs into the toilet and onto my pantyliner. On a couple of days, it looked like small pieces of liver in the toilet. Then I started getting bloated. I got off of this supplement, the spotting and globby chunks stopped. I am almost 50, have PCOS and in perimenopause so I am not sure what was happening.I waited a couple of weeks and took a few more doses and then my period came on. In that short time, I did spot, but no weird globs. I am a bit mixed-feeling about this powder at the moment. There are only 15 servings per jar, so I will likely not try this supplement again. The value is not there and the factors mentioned above could just be my body adjusting to the powder or it could be causing issues.If the value was there, then maybe I could consider trying it longer. I will say it was easy to use. The powder mixed well into fruit juice, water, A2 cows milk, yogurt and cottage cheese with no noticeable flavor or chuncking.

I tried this supplement because I wanted this mix of Myo-Inositol and D-Chiro Inositol without any other fillers or unnecessary ingredients. The powder does not have a specific taste, dissolves fully in water, does not clump, and is easy to measure and scoop. The size of the container is an excellent value for a quality and effective supplement. The container seals tightly for freshness and the powder remains smooth. After 3-weeks of use, I am still feeling consistent energy, better sleep without restlessness, and a reduction in hormone shifts. My need to worry and ruminate has also dissipated, which is a main reason I take Inositol.

Bought it for the wife, her review follows, "I tried mixing it with water and couldn't get my head to stop 'tasting' the powder so I started putting it in my coffee and then had no problems after that. It lasted only a couple weeks since the serving amount was 2 scoops, I really don't know if it had or will have an effect on my menstrual cycle or not. BUT I did notice that I was more lively and more willing for adult time pretty much anytime we could get away from the kids. It claims to help with egg health and since we've been hoping for another, with no luck yet, I guess an updated review may have to follow if another baby is on the way."No weight loss was recorded. Ease of use is super simple, just use the provided scoop and mix with a drink and boom you're done.Update: No baby, but the wife says she'd buy it again anytime for the energy boost.
