These bars are accurately sized. My calipers measure them within 0.1mm of the reported sizes with respect to thickness, internal and external heights. I don't have a method to accurately measure the angles, but they seem accurate enough.The problem I have is with the case. One of the handles was broken when I received it. The design of the case makes it not worth replacing. The foam is too thick for the smaller bars, so they are below the top of the foam. The edge of the case is too close to the last gauge, so I can't get my fingers between the gauge and side of the case. To get the thinner gauges out, I needed to take the foam out of the case and push them out from the bottom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Time Saving Accurate Measuring Tool for Woodworkers
The media could not be loaded. These setup blocks are an entry point into getting you quickly past the machine setup and down to cutting wood projects. I have some digital gauges that are good, but you have to fiddle with them and hold them a certain way so things line up. With these blocks, if you are comfortable with their accuracy, just plop them down and focus on cranking the blade where you need it. Once you develop a rhythm working with the tool, precision starts to enter your work along with consistency. I like this vendor's products not only because of their price point but also because they add value to their tools' function with details. I purchased their screw and bolt gauge because it also offered a drill gauge built in and scales to measure the screws length on the side. They saved material, and I had a more useful tool. They did something similar here, less material but more value in the negative space, with more useful information. I liked that the vertical edge of the blocks was labeled so that it was easy to find in the box. I appreciated the conversion to decimal and metric in the central area for those of us who grew up learning imperial sizes. The labeled edge gauges give you an easy way to verify slots. The 3/16 block was especially nice with its small ruler. The selection of blocks has a good range. I verified the angle accuracy to my satisfaction with a surface plate and digital scale, and they were all less than one degree error from the stated number, and that difference may be due to my shortcomings and the precision of the digital tool. Could this tool be easily improved for its next update? Yes, the slots in the case, especially the thinner block slots, need to be enlarged. Removing the 1/16 block was difficult. Label the sizes of the holes in the blocks so the user knows the size of the dowel they can fill it with to build stacked jigs. If you don’t want to clutter the front or confuse the user, utilize the back; you could change the laser's power make it a different color. Use the back of each block and put scales or rulers on the back like you did on the 3/16 block. Consider saving material on the 3/16 block by extending the gauge down to the hole and creating a depth gauge for holes using the back for its scales. This is a wish list; the tool, as it stands, is excellent for performing its function. I look forward to seeing what your team creates next.

Do not buy these set up blocks for the case. The case came broken and is made of very cheap plastic. The blocks themselves are convenient, good, and accurate. Could not get a replacement case. Bolo wanted a full return. Just need a replacement case.

Wow, for me these are an invaluable tool. If you make cabinets, furniture. or anything using a table saw this is a tool to have; almost replacing a tape measure in certain aspects of a wood working project. These setup aluminum alloy Blocks are quicker and easier to work with compared to a tape measure; especially when you are getting older and need more light to see like I do. Setting up for DADO cuts is much simpler and so fast and I do not have to, "Measure twice, (measure 3 times)' and cut once" Now I just grab the gauge I need. I love these, they have already made my job so much easier and I have only had the 14 piece Setup Blocks Height Gauge Set a few days. Great for angles, heights, widths, and depths; what else do you need? If you have a table saw I recommend having this set within reach.

If time is money, these setup blocks are an investment – turning tool setup time into seconds.• Select the correct blocks (one with the correct angle, and typically another one or two with the correct depth or width, usage will vary based on the tool and task). Blocks can be ‘stacked’ (e.g. with a bolt and nut, or clamp) for wider / taller measurements.• Assuring the power is off, set the block(s) to the blade, loosen the tool’s adjustment lock, adjust, and retighten. [It actually takes longer to type out these steps than to do the adjustment.]Manufactured of aluminum alloy for durability, white numbers on red background for easy reading and overall visibility in the shop [think safety], this is a great product suitable for any woodworker serious about the craft, tools used, and time saving. A few test measurements with an analog micrometer and protractor found the sizing and slopes were accurate.As good as the blocks themselves are, they come in a lightweight plastic storage case. The one I received sustained damage resulting in a broken latch and sharp edges. There was little damage to the blocks because of the high density fitted foam insert. Given the weight of the blocks, I would expect a similar result from an accidental drop to a concrete floor. Happy with the blocks, I will need to replace the case with one suitable for a shop environment.

These worked great on my router table and table saw to make setting the correct height is easy. Just lay it over the hole and raise the bit or blade until it just touches. The blocks are made of aluminum which is softer than steel and carbide, so blades/bits will not be harmed.The red anodized finish stands out so they are easy to see and find tokeep it from ending up lost or in the wrong place.The blocks come in a nice padded compact case to keep them organized, clean, and safe. If you are missing one, it will be very obvious by the empty slot.A very useful time saver and a good deal.

The design of the case makes it not worth replacing. The foam is too thick for the smaller bars, so they are below the top of the foam. The edge of the case is too close to the last gauge, so I can't get my fingers between the gauge and side of the case. To get the thinner gauges out, I needed to take the foam out of the case and push them out from the bottom.
