I was happy to try this 2x kids camping chair set for use with our little ones (ages 5 and 1). The chairs feel well-constructed and sturdy, which is exactly what you want for something that will get plenty of outdoor use. They’re very easy to fold and unfold, and each set packs nicely into the included travel bags. The compact folded size also makes them a breeze to carry around to parks, camping sites, or even just the backyard; we especially appreciate the compactness given that our car (Model Y) isn't the biggest in terms of the trunk space.Where these fall short for us is the lack of arms. At first, I thought the armless design might be fine, but for kids, it turns out to be less than ideal. Our children much prefer chairs with arms, not only for comfort but also for the convenience of having a spot for their drinks, as most camping chairs with arms come with a cup holder. This detail makes a bigger difference than I initially expected.Overall, these chairs are durable, portable, and easy to manage, but the armless design limits their usefulness for kids who like a bit more structure and functionality in their seats.
