I’ve never had many super close friends in my life other than 1 from high school that I keep in touch with and get together a couple times a year. I’ve always sort of kept to myself and didn’t make mi ch effort to change that. Since I became a member of my church several years ago I have built a fairly large group of friends and some are closer than others. This book really made me think long and hard about what I’m doing or not doing and should be doing in order to grow the friendships I have. There’s so much wisdom to glean from the Bible about friendships and how important they are.It was refreshing to read about a couple of best friends and things that they have helped each other through whether it be simple or really tough.Reading this book made me want to strive to be the kind of friend to others that Kerri and Cayla are to each other. It certainly would be nice to grow closer to other couples/families now that my husband and I are empty nesters. Great book indeed!

This is an amazing book on friendship and how God works in it. The hard times. The good times. The laughing the crying and all the in between. A must read for women that want to strengthen their friendships and their relationship with Jesus!!! I loved it!!! Amazing!!!

A very special read about a lovely friendship. The authors did an amazing job of telling their real life story and included Biblical and other author references. I pray many women read this book and realize they need a true female friend and a genuine support system of women.

The story of these two ladies is inspiring of how God has used them to overcome hardships, be real and grow together. This book is easy to read, thought provoking and challenges women to be vulnerable and willing to take risks in godly friendships. It will be fun to read with other ladies!

These girls did a wonderful job showing how to navigate through life and its struggles leaning on one another with God at the center. The stories are genuine and show a very vulnerable side that invites you to look at your own relationships. There are alot of take aways in this book for every kind of friendship and how to improve your relationships and communities.

I am only a few pages in and I see clearly that God has put this book in my hands. I have always struggled to let people love me and with keeping my distance to avoid more hurt. This is not a formal, how-to-be-a-friend book. It's written like a conversation with friends who want to point you scripture and are cheering for you. Thank you Cayla and Kerry for following the Spirit's leading!
