It seems to clean pretty well, but is smaller internally than the unit it replaced. The racks don't fit our dishes very well, because the tines are spaced too closely. The top silverware rack doesn't work with our silverware at all, and wastes a lot of space for glasses on the top rack. It can be easily removed. Note that this machine is not as deep front to back as many are, but it requires all of the space from the floor to the counter with normal cabinets. We had to relocate our water and electric supply locations from the floor to the rear wall.
