We were having some issues at the beginning of the pool season with algae and greenish water, and these Chlorinating Granules were part of turning that around. They work great, and are an amazing way to get the water clarity and clean blue pool look back to making our pool a welcoming sight. We highly recommend these Chlorinating Granules, and are so glad we got this.

I actually just have those small inflatable type backyard pools. However, I don't want to empty it and refill it each time I use it, that would be so wasteful. So i sprinkle a tiny bit into my little pool and use a skimmer and I can keep the water for a few days. I don't get a strong smell from it or anything like that. Especially since I just need such a small amount of product for my application. It's just the right amount of chlorine to keep me floating out back for a few days. I'm sure it would work longer, but my little pool isn't made for all that. The packaging is big enough that this container will easily last me this summer and next, even with regular use. So for me that is a great value, I suppose it depends on your application. I'm very pleased and recommend it.

These are intense chlorinating granules to help keep your pool water crystal clear! These are no joke so I immediately want to say, use with caution! Follow instructions carefully and don't let this be something you let the kids handle when it comes to cleaning the pool bc they are very dangerous. I was honestly surprised at the warning label but at the same time knew I had picked the right product for chlorinating our pool after each use! These are a bit on the pricey side but bc they work so well, it's still a good deal. You get a decent sized bottle and I see these lasting most of the summer. Also make sure to allow enough time to pass before letting the kids get back into the water! I highly recommend these for any pool or spa owner bc they are the best of the best! I love how the lable calls it a "super chlorinator" and itost definitely lives up to it's name
5.0 out of 5 stars Dissolves Quickly - No Brushing Needed - Did The Job
Opened my 28,000 gallon pool for the start of the season several days ago. Once the chlorine level was well below the low end of the suggested chlorine range I put half the bottle in by spreading the granules over the bottom of the pool.The first thing I noticed was that by the time the granules reached the bottom of the pool they were no longer easy to see. Within the next hour or so they had disappeared. I have an in-floor, pop-up cleaning system that pushes water around which definitely helped to get the granules to dissolve even quicker. I've been using different granular chemicals for years and this is the first time the granules were creating a cloud on the way to the bottom. Sometimes it takes some brushing in to get the granules to be absorbed by the water. This time there was no need to brush any granules.The next day I tested the water and it read at the low end of normal/good. I spread the remaining half bottle of the granules over the bottom of the pool. I tested the chlorine levels again the following day and the chlorine was at the high end of normal/good. My water started off sparkling at the opening and remained that way. No cloudiness.The product claims to be "UV light resistant and sun protected for extended chlorine life" which typically means cyanuric acid or something similar is included. The cyanuric acid test was very low which is a step up from the pool opening but wasn't very much.

You can actually see this dissolve as soon as it touches the water. It was easy to use and is a decent size. I use a soap scooper and just sprinkle it into the pool. It works well and i see the difference. I definitely recommend this product for maintenance.

I use these granules with my Bestway spa, and while they work great for keeping the water clean and clear, the size of the granules is a bit of a mismatch for the built-in dispenser. They’re just too fine to sit properly in it without falling right through or not dispensing evenly.To get around that, I started using a small sock to hold the granules, tying it off and hanging it over the side. It sounds a little ridiculous, but it actually works perfectly. The granules dissolve at a steady rate, and it’s been keeping the chlorine levels right where they need to be without any clumping or waste.So, while they’re not a perfect fit for the spa’s dispenser, the granules themselves are effective and dissolve well. With a simple workaround, they do exactly what I need them to.

This is a good granulated chlorine. I use a little scoop once a week in my 225 gallon hot tub and it works great. I've had no problems with it at all.
