Love it. My previous grinder ran at a very high speed making it very noisy and it tended to pulverize the beans into dust even when attempting to do a coarse grind for a French press.This grinder runs slower....maybe it's geared down? Because it runs slower, it's much quieter and produces an excellent coarse grind without pulverizing any of the beans into dust.

I had no idea that grinding coffee in a good coffee grinder could make such a difference. I assumed it was only the coffee beans that mattered, not how you grind it. I've used an old, small, cheap grinder for years. It has no settings....just on and off and always leaves the beans in various stages of ground. Some like powder; others in chunks.This grinder has so many settings, I'm still experimenting on finding just the right ones for my various coffee makers. I have a drip one, a percolator, and even a cone drip method. I use them at different times for different reasons. I don't have an espresso machine or french press right now, but the grinder has settings for those options.Having the correct grind is important. Too fine and it backs up in the filter. Too coarse and the coffee is watery. Sometimes I would get frustrated with my old grinder and just buy my coffee pre-ground. I hate doing that, because freshly ground beans are so much better.I really do think the low-speed grinding this machine has makes a big difference. It doesn't tend to overgrind, leaving the coffee with a burnt taste. It doesn't matter how many beans you're grinding; the coffee is evenly ground.I sometimes leave the ground coffee in the canister for a few days. It keeps it fresh and then is easy to clean up.I didn't know how much I needed this great grinder until I got it. I'm very happy with this product.

Man, super easy to use once you try it the first time. Of course you have to figure out your grind number/time but unless you have had or used a grinder before and already have a general number to start with, this will be a trial and error process.Easy to put together, easy to clean. You have 2 cradle sizes and tops to aid in grinding the coffee straight into the espresso handle, allowing you to place the handle straight into the machine filled with fresh ground espresso.Nice to look at, and runs pretty quietly especially compared to our older model which wakes the neighborhood or those models at the grocery store that sound like you are grounding a barrel at a time instead of a bag.One of the only issues we have stumbled upon with using is the fact there is no shut off button. Don’t get me wrong, it has a power button that turns the machine on however, that power button is also used to start the grinding process once you set it to the desired setting. If you wish to power down the machine, you just allow it to sit unused for 3 minutes and it will shut down on its own. OR, you can unplug it once done which, is what we do for safety reasons.Other than that, this machine runs smoothly, looks good and does everything described. I love that everything you could need is provided and that this is so simple and easy to use. Even my husband who has dementia can manage to grind his coffee if the setting he likes is set on the hopper. Wonderful quality and great investment!

I’ve been using this grinder every morning and it’s doing a solid job. The 51 grind settings give me a ton of control depending on whether I’m brewing espresso or cold brew. The timer is handy and the anti-static feature actually helps reduce the mess. It’s not the quietest machine, but it feels durable and looks great on my counter. I like that the container is stainless steel and not plastic. No issues so far and the grind has been super consistent.
