I was very impressed with how these walnuts were grown with regenerative farming practices, as well as how fresh and flavorful they were. Surprisingly , they tasted better than the organic raw walnuts sold at my local farm market.

These walnuts are amazing! Tasted so fresh, with a slight buttery flavor and a little sweetness. They shipped well, as all the halves were intact. Great quality and taste with no bitterness or metallic aftertaste at all. They were plump and firm with no rubbery or dried pieces. Well worth the price. Honestly, you get what you pay for. You will not be disappointed by the freshness, taste and quality of these walnuts!

I ordered this big bag of raw walnuts mostly for baking (banana walnut muffins!), but also for the occasional snack. Flavor-wise, they’re okay—not bad, but not as fresh-tasting as some I’ve had before. I wouldn't call them stale or rancid; the flavor was just a bit muted. The texture is fine for mixing into batter or sprinkling over salads, but not so much for eating straight out of the bag. Compared with other brands these were pretty good, and for the weight this was a solid value for baking.One issue that stood out right away was the amount of fine dust and broken bits in the bag. It doesn’t affect baking results, but it’s not great when you’re reaching in for a handful to snack on. Also, the bag isn’t resealable, which makes it harder to keep the nuts fresh without transferring them into another container.That said, walnuts are still a nutritional powerhouse—packed with healthy fats, protein, and omega-3s—so I’m glad to have them on hand. For baking, they’ve worked just fine in cookies, quick breads, and muffins. For snacking, though, I’ll probably look for a fresher, cleaner option next time.
