Dimension wise this is a direct copy of the G305 with the added benefit of a rechargeable battery, up to date internals, and does not requiring an AA battery at much lower wight than the original G305 with a overall wight of 59g. This shape of mouse has always been on the smaller size requiring me to use a claw grip, but do the the wider body it still feel comfortable and do the the lower wight it is not as fatiguing as an unmodified G305. The switches used in this mouse are not the Omron 100m optical switch, but rather the Omron 100m mechanical micro switches in anyone is wondering since the pictures didn't specify which one they used, but even so they still feel good. The mouse sensor used in the mouse is the PAW3311 which is a budget sensor most likely to keep costs down. While I would have preferred something a little better the PAW3311 is still a solid sensor that I have had no problems with in the past so it shouldn't negatively effect gaming performance. Speaking of performance the 500mah battery they used in this mouse may be a bit oversized do the the fact that this is a docked mouse so even if the 500mah can give you over a hundred hours of game play do to the fact that you can leave it on the dock to charge every night means its always going to be full so if anyone wants to modify this mouse to make it lighter a smaller battery sound like any easy way to drop a few grams. The included dock is very similar to some other docking mice I own in fact this mouse magnetically attached to and charges using them as well. Anyways the dock works well and self positions the mouse using magnets and very convenient for not having to think about charging your mouse since it is fully charged every time you need it. The RGB lighting on the dock is nice if you are into that sort of thing, but if you don't like it there is a dozen or so option to cycle though using the button on the bottom of the dock or it can fully be turned off. Overall for anyone looking to replace there aging G305 with a few upgrades and a magnetic charging dock for less than a new G305 that this is a great choice for under $40 using the coupon.
