5.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive, but powerful replacement for much more expensive electric bike battery!
I bought a used Swagtron EB 7 bike at our local flea market with a totally dead, original battery locked in the bike's frame, that would not take a charge. I had no key to remove the old battery and wanted to make sure the motor on the bike actually worked before buying the OEM type battery which cost almost $200 dollars and try to remove or pick the lock. I ordered this battery from Bolo at a quarter of that price which was the same voltage but with more amperage. I modified this battery's power plug to fit the charging plug on the electric bike and was delighted to see the bike spring to life and ready for a test drive. I took it on about a seven-mile ride on hilly terrain, and only one bar on the power icon on the bike's screen went down, which indicates it seemed to perform better so far than the more expensive OEM battery based on YouTube reviews! This review is based just on this one ride so far, and if there are any future problems I will amend this review. I do not know if having the current from this battery passing through the dead OEM battery still locked inside the bike's frame will have any adverse effect on the bike's motor or battery, so if there is a real electrician out there who knows, please make a comment! I have ordered a lock pick set from Bolo to remove the old battery, but haven't received it yet.

Shipping took forever. They show a charger in the picture but it does not include a charger.
