Good water filter. Worked great. Good value. Had to give it to mom because it did not work for my sink. It was too bulky for my sink. I switched to one of the big pitchers.

The PUR water filter for kitchen faucet is perfect for my family! Our water is pretty good quality already, but I personally can taste all the chlorine and minerals (or lack thereof) in the city water supply. The PUR water filter is very convenient, provides room temp or slightly colder water (don't use hot water), and filters last about 3 months before needing replaced. The filter seems very durable and have had it for a few months now without any issue.Note: there are two types of filters that can be used in this faucet dispenser: the basic PUR filters (purple box / white cartridge) and the PUR plus filters (teal box / blue cartridge). Both filters work great in this dispenser and I prefer the basic ones for cost reasons since my main use of this is to remove the chemical tastes. The PUR plus filter would add minerals back into the water to make it taste better, but I personally can't justify the cost difference when the regular one tastes good enough for me. Don't get me wrong, the PUR plus filter does taste better, just not worth the extra price to me.Pros:- Easy to setup- Clean water- Removes chemical taste- Instant fresh water without having to wait for a pitcher to fillCons:- Won't be ice cold water if that's what you prefer unless you dispense into a pitcher/bottles to put into the refrigerator

I received a competitor's vertical faucet mount water filtration system as a gift. I thought it was rather cheaply made and somewhat difficult to install, but it did the job. For about three months. Then it started leaking/spraying from the connection with the faucet and was no longer usable.I decided to replace it with a PUR horizontal faucet mount water filtration system since I liked the ease of getting filtered water directly from the tap. The first thing I noticed was how much sturdier the PUR seemed compared to my previous system. Although installation was basically the same as the earlier product, it was easier to install. Everything about the system feels like a higher grade than the one I had before. My only "complaint" is that the horizontal system makes it harder to see the flow of water from the faucet when the PUR is not in use. (I should've purchased another vertical mount system.)I have only had the PUR system for roughly 45 days so I can't speak to its longevity. But I am very happy with the purchase so far and find it to be a better product overall than its competitor's.

I've had a PUR faucet water filter for years. It really works at improving the taste of city water. The filter mechanism started leaking at its seams within the last year, which was very annoying and messy, as well as allowing some water to come out of the main faucet even with the filter handle turned on (this had nothing to do with the seal - believe me, I tested it).I found this PUR to replace it, since it was claimed that filters from the previous version would fit. They were correct: the filters I already own fit this PUR, which has saved me money and waste. It came with various handy adaptors, which I didn't need for this faucet, but I'm glad they were included. Installation was easier and it fit more tightly on my faucet than the previous PUR. So far, no seam leaks or water coming out of the main faucet while using the filter, although it sounds different than the older one (a bit noisier for some reason).I also like (on both versions) the filter life indicator light. As on the previous PUR I owned, if the indicator doesn't start working for a newly installed filter, you just open the PUR, pull out the filter and push the button inside, then reinstall the filter and close the PUR.As for longevity, I will update this review at a later date.

This wasted filter is great!! I have it on my apparent sink and it was super easy to install!! I would definitely recommend changing the filters regularly bc the water pressure does get slow. It makes the water taste great and is great value for your money!!

The media could not be loaded. This is my 2nd purchase and i received a used product. The adapter heads clearly opened as previous owner could have attempted to install it. However, on installation, noticed the lock nut was too loose and has too much play, and confirmed water leaks through when tap is opened.My 1st purchase lasted about 4 months, when it worked it was wonderful, taste was good very similar to mineral water. Receiving the used product & durability, deducted 1 star.

I’ve wasted time and money on other filters, now I found a very good one. Others are dangerous especially switching knob also construction on others are poor. Although this costs more it’s worth it, from metal adaptors to easy control knob and cheaper filter carts. Only issue I found is that you can accidentally with to filtered water, but I can easily deal with this considering how dangerous the other manufacturer is.

No funciona adecuadamente con muchas modelos de toma de grifo, inclusive fui a home Depot para buscar una que sirviera bien y no queda, tienes que conseguir un adaptador y con eso funciona perfectamente, el sabor del agua es excelente y su función muy bien
Love it but..
Great product.. but indication light battery is not replaceable. So once fixed battery runs out, the light won't work again. That's a bummer for such a a cool machine.
LOVE IT
I had a Brita previously and it was a good product but it was difficult to see when the filter needed changing. I decided I'd try the PUR and I really like it. Easy to see the light to tell if the filter is still OK and it sits flatter on the tap, not upright like the Brita & so far the water is pretty good. Also it's much easier to switch from regular to filtered water. The switch is right at the front and no effort at all to move. All in all, very impressive.
