Ceiling Mounting Method for Bathroom Exhaust Fans
Installation Instructions
1. Choose a suitable installation position to make sure that there is accessible power on the ceiling, where the location must be cleaned up, with no cables and pipes, etc. Mark the location of an 8.3 x 8.3 inch hole with a pencil, and use proper tools to cut along the marked track in the ceiling.
2. Fix the wood frame onto the ceiling.
3. Press the circlip to remove the panel from the 10x10'' bathroom exhaust fan.
4. The power line should be connected with a standard three-pin plug (plug is not included), yellow/green double wires must be grounded, then test the circuit on the preinstalled socket.
5. Connect the bath exhaust fan's air outlet to the 4-inch self-contained vent duct, then fasten the joint by a clamp or cable tie.
6. Fix the base of the bathroom air vent fan onto the wood frame using self-tapping screws. Install the angle iron on the ceiling exhaust fan side for reinforcement if necessary.
7. Pinch the springs on the grille and insert them into the rectangular slots on the bathroom ventilation fan housing.
Note:
1. The instructions for Model EIN-12A, EIN-12DL, and EIN-12LL bathroom fans for ceiling are universal.
2. All electrical work required for this square bathroom exhaust fan must be performed by a licensed electrician.
3. This exhaust fan for bathroom ceiling should be installed more than 2.3m from the floor.
4. Do not install or use this kitchen ceiling exhaust fan outdoors where it may come into contact with water or moisture (indoor use only).
