As a first, I quite enjoyed these collagen jelly sticks. So you cut open one end and squeeze out the jelly stick and put it in your mouth. It breaks up easily so you end up eating the whole stick in about two or three chunks, followed by a bit of liquid. I would describe the texture as jelly-like but much chewier, but still soft. A stick sounds like a lot, but it's really not that much. According to product description, there's 20 grams in one stick. I am a bit confused by the nutritional label because it provides the total number of proteins, carbs, sugars, and sodium in the entire box, rather than one stick. For example, each stick contains 1.13 grams of protein rather than 17 grams noted on the box.The actual flavor is pretty good. I can definitely taste the citrus yuzu, but it's also sweet and a tad sour and salty. Just love the blend of flavors. I read the ingredients list and the first thing listed is the yuzu juice followed by honey and then fish collagen. Since collagen is listed as a third ingredient, I'm pretty happy about that. I've only started taking these so I cannot attest to its efficacy on beauty, i.e., skin, hair, nails. But from my experience taking fish collagen supplements in general, I know they do support the aforementioned, as well as bones and joints.The instructions does not tell you how often you're supposed to take these. If you take one stick a day, that is $1.63 per stick. Not cheap at all. Since there are 15 in a package, if you take one every day this will last you only about 2 weeks. If you want to be economical, my suggestion is you regularly take collagen in powdered, capsule, or gummy form, and save the jelly stick as a treat or when you are on the go or in a hurry, or for convenience when traveling.

I have heard great things about collagen jelly sticks, and am a huge fan of k-beauty products so I was really excited to order these yellow plum collagen jelly sticks. I take collagen supplements and use a lot of collagen skincare products. The box is nice in design and the jelly sticks are very similar to hydration sticks. Ingredient wise, its high quality. They contain 3,000mg of low molecular marine collagen which is a decent amount along with Korean green plum extract which is fantastic. I love that they are sugar free and boast being a great evening snack! Last night, my husband and I tried them for the first time. Upon opening a stick (which is easy to open and use), I noticed that it smelled like burned honey. Before I could eat mine, my husband devoured his and said it tasted delicious! I took my first bite and was hit with the immediate taste of burned honey. I'm not sure if that sounds delicious or not but I can say with 100% certainty that for me, it was not delicious. I can't think of a single food I've ever put in my mouth and then spit out, besides cucumber, until this jelly stick. I tried to chew and finish the one bite I took but I just could not do it. Sadly, I had to spit it out and immediately brush my teeth. Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to love these jelly sticks - they just aren't for me. With that said, my husband finished mine as well and said he'll gladly take the rest. He doesn't take any collagen supplements so they will be great for him and thankfully I have plenty of other ways to get my daily doses in. I don't hold this against them though, clearly the taste is subjective if I didn't like it and my husband loved it!Overall, I think the ingredients are high quality and these can be a great addition to anyone's diet who likes the flavor. Price wise, you get 15 packets - just over a 2 week supply (so it won't last long) - for $24.46 at the time of this review, which feels like a high price. Each stick is $1.63 and that's not necessarily the best value in my opinion since I can get high quality collagen supplements with other good ingredients for that price with a 30 day supply. It will be interesting to see if my husband begins to notice any positive results while taking the remaining 13 packets, but I won't purchase this product again. I think that if you're into jelly sticks, you might like this and it would be fun to at least try, but be forewarned of the burned honey flavor that some will love and some will not.
