Amazing product. Unused the Hoosier Hill Farm whole powder eggs, milk and buttermilk to try to make cornbread gift in a jar. It worked wonderfully and did not alter the taste of the cornbread. And my cat likes the powder as well! Great value and quality ingredients in the product. It is so easy to use with very clear to understand instructions

I just tried some and it's very good. And it's great to have a shelf stable product I can keep around if I need it. It would make excellent omelettes. Might try it again later with a little milk in the mixture or even a scoop of some dried veggies. Or dump some of it, just the powder, in a cup ramen.A bit pricey compared to regular eggs but if more folks buy it, it could come down in price.

I bought a #10 giant-size can of a black bean veggie burger dry mix from Bolo as a convenient but reasonably priced way to make veggie burgers, but after some experimentation I discovered that the mix produced a fairly crumbly end product unless an egg was added, approximately one egg per one cup of mix which makes three or so burgers. Often I wanted just one burger, though, especially since they're better fresh--in which case I made zero burgers because I didn't want to waste my eggs. Unfortunately since I so often wanted to make just one burger my black bean burger mix sat unused for months.This egg white powder immediately proved to be the perfect solution. I warmed water in the microwave and used a bit less than a teaspoon of egg white powder with 3/8 cup of mix, with added onion and garlic powders and spices, and it made a burger that held together absolutely perfectly and had a pleasant crunch to the surface. In fact I probably could have used less egg white powder than that and still would gave had a good result. I put the egg white powder jar on my burger plate for photographic convenience and not because I was eating the powder out of the jar, by the way.Then I thought of another reason why I sometimes want less than one egg, which is to make a mug cake in the microwave. Actually I made a whole bowl cake in the microwave, using one teaspoon of egg white powder and estimated amounts of other ingredients that I thought cake should have (it did wind up having too much baking soda so it tasted bad but was otherwise perfect). There are numerous recipes online to help you to make mug cake and I should of course have used a recipe. But again, a big success for the egg white powder. I won't make the same baking soda mistake next time.This is a really useful product, and if I estimate that my typical usage to make a one-serving item like one veggie burger or one mug cake is about 1 teaspoon or less, there are at least 75 servings in the jar. The serving size per the nutrition facts is 2 tbsp, and there are 15 servings of that size in the jar.Even if this product does keep me from having to use a whole egg for my single-portion foods it does not represent a meaningful cost savings compared with what I often pay for eggs. It does makes sense as a convenience ingredient that will keep at room temperature and will not spoil as readily as fresh eggs. And it is high quality (I was surprised to learn from the jar that Hoosier Hill Farms is based only a few miles from where I live in Wisconsin, so presumably the origin of the egg whites are from USA chicken eggs, although "Hoosier Hill Farms" is to the best of my knowledge not literally a farm). and is genuinely a good substitute for eggs because it is real egg.
