Threaded holes are too big for outlets. Had to buy bigger screws on all of our outlets in order to use these boxes. Would not have use if known this.

If you're doing a big electrical project and need a bunch of shallow metal boxes, this is a good purchase. But, there is one big downside, which is that it appears that the screw holes that are used to attach the outlets, are a different size from the standard screws which come in an outlet. That's a real pain to change the screws, so I have to bump down the rating. There is a tapped ground wire hole on the back, so that can be useful. The boxes are only 1 7/8" deep, not providing much room for wiring, and I knew that before ordering these, but it is still a bit shallow for most uses. There are knock-outs on all of the sides, so you should be able to route your wires in and out.
