Had this for years now, since its launch. Upgraded to 8nm. It's precise, versatile and all that you need, specially if you use the lighter wheels like the formulas or the csl gt3. I use it paired with a clubsport v3 pedal set and the shifter. Everything connects to the same base. This product was years ahead of the competition. Highly recommended.

Was not impressed with the force feedback strength at all, and I had the boost kit. I had a Cammus C5 that was actually stronger, and it was rated at 5nm. The money that it cost for the base, the wheel and boost kit, you could purchase a Cammus C12 and it’s way more stronger and smoother, it’s what I decided to go to and you should too, trust me, and you’ll thank me later.

The plastic QR2 on the base is crap and is not suitable for 8nm, and will get loose over time. I have had a few races ruined because of this. I tried tightening the screws and reseating the QR, but it never really felt the same afterwards, and it had a nasty plastic on plastic feel during certain FFB effects.Be aware that you'll need to add the cost of the metal QR2 on the base side to this, which runs at around $60 or so dollars. But if you decide to run it at 5nm, it'll probably be okay.Once I installed the metal QR2 everything was fine. Fanatec/Corsair should really just have it installed out of the box and increase the price if they need to. The QR2 lite is no good.

This is a fantastic base that is compatible with both Fanatec and other wheels using QR2. It will work great on lite cockpits that would break under 10+nm.
