That a pair of guitarslingers of their magnitude can turn out songs just as strong as their play is a fortunate find for fans of rockin’ blues. From the leadoff and title track- one nasty shuffle, to the insistent rocker that follows-“Can’t Be A Prophet”, to the power ballad that’s next up-“Alive”, Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia prove an authentic dynamic duo. Frères de sang ??? c'est juste du commerce ... pour commencer , je vous avoue sans honte aucune que A.Castaglia n'est pas ma tasse de thé . C' est sans aucun doute un excellent guitariste , et je l'apprécie sur cet opus , mais il n'y a pas de place pour lui individuellement dans ma bibliothèque musicale . Mike Zito ( M.Z ) et lui ont en commun la passion de la musique , et une volonté maladive de rester en course , a n'importe que prix j'ajoute , mais a la base , ce sont des styles différents , des influences majeure totalement opposées . C'est le concepte R.U.F , quand deux de ses poulains sont en perte de créativité , d'inspiration et de vente , ont les unis ... le seul mariage a ce jour , pour moi , qui nous a donnés la naissance deux super albums que je recommande chaudement a tous les amateurs et fans de blues/rock , c'est K.W.S/S.Stills/B.Goldberg ( The Rides ) ... ça c'est puissant et incontournable , selon moi j'entends .Avant de parler de ce " Help Yourself , revenons un instant sur leur première nuit de noces " hey sweet mama " ... heureusement que sur une piste il y a Josh Smith et sur une autre Joe Bonamassa , mais dans l'ensemble , c'est plus que moyen ... vient ensuite ce live au Canada qui n'apporte absolument rien bien au contraire , qui est la réplique de " hey Sweet mama " avec le publique en plus ... c'est juste de l'arnaque commercial ...Dans ce " Help Yourself " la majeur partie des titres sont signé M.Z , mais la piste phare de cette galette est " low Down " une superbe reprise , je dis bien Superbe reprise de J.J.Cale , et oui mes ptis loups , et , avec ces deux fêlés du manche , c'est juste jouissif . M.Z connait bien ce morceau pour l'avoir joué avec B.Allison/V.Sky dans un " blues caravan " de 2018 ...Oui je mets 5 étoiles , car les 2 compères ont franchement bossés , sur le choix des titres , pour que leur deux public communs s'y retrouve ... un peu .Alors voilà mes ptis loups , faites comme moi , écoutez ce que vous aimez , très fort et sans modération .
