Aside from the updated media capabilities such as Bluetooth, USB and TF cards, this Boombox looks very old school. I don't think this is an accident. It definitely reminds me of the Boomboxes I and my friends all had back in the 90's.I've moved recently and my cassettes are still packed away somewhere. I couldn't find them so I haven't been able to test it yet.Instead I've made a video of this M-Amazup multi-function Boombox using a CD.Audio is loud enough to be heard easily, even in outdoor settings. The audio quality is good and well balanced however, bass is a bit weak. Honestly, it was the same with my 90's Boomboxes.The layout of the controls is very intuitive. I didn't even have to use the manual except to figure out the FM auto-tuning function.Concerning the FM auto-tuning, it stops even on very weak stations. Many of these are too weak to be listenable even with the antenna fully extended. It can save 20 stations but it takes a while to skip through the weak ones.The remote requires 2 AAA batteries and handles all functions that are on the player itself. It works well.The Boombox operates on either AC plug (detachable and included) or 6 "C" batteries. Using AC power, it's very light but with 6 "C" batteries, it will weigh somewhere between a smart car and a hood from a '59 Cadillac. I may be nitpicking but a built-in rechargeable battery would be a better option. I'll just use it indoors with wall power.Be aware that the Volume control on this deck is not linked to the Bluetooth Volume on your phone. They work independently of each other. While testing the CD audio I turned the volume on the Boombox all the way up (to 30). Then used my phone to control it up or down. When I switched to FM mode after that test, it was BLARING. It's a good thing that the volume controls are easily accessible!For it's cost I feel this is a good deal.

Very recently I was playing with an old LP Record Player with my son and thought heck if I ever wanted to listen to my older Cassettes of conversations with my Dad and family what could I use? . I ran across this as an option to give an honest review. When we received it we appreciated the great packaging and initially amazed with all of the Jam Packed Opportunities. After plugging it in and Putting Batteries in the remote, I first wanted to set up bluetooth since these days that's the first one thinks of. The set up was quick and easy. Then using the remote we chose FM radio. This unit ironically was already set to a local FM station and music began to play. I was impressed with the reception since we hadn't pulled the antenna out yet.It was fun explaining to my 12 year old about how the older "Boom Boxes" worked and how you need to be careful with antenna's so they don't break. The AM stations came in just as well as the FM crisp and clear. I inserted a "Jackson Browne CD" and it worked just fine. Bluetooth also works well as does the cassette.That being said, the area where I believe this unit fall behind in in the actual Sound. The sound has more Treble than Bass so it mirrors the sound of the older transistor radios...kind of "Tinney" But Let me tell you why I gave it Four Stars! This is a very functional unit and I don't believe the manufacturer wanted to win sound awards but to emulate a bit of electronic history and merge newer technology to add Value. But I believe the value will be the ability to revisit Cassettes, CD's, and Radio. But then again, I'm a Vintage kinda guy.

I grew up in the 90's with Blockbuster Music, Turtles, Camelot, and even Bestbuy. I used to beg my parents for money to buy tapes, then it was cd's, and I took care of them because I'm a music lover and still have most of them today. Some of the music I can find on my music streaming services but there are quite a few I cannot so I was happy to come across this all-in-one player. The simplistic look stood out to me, and it fits right in with the appliances in my kitchen where I put it. I forgot how clean the sound of a cd with a few scratches on it could be. And then I pulled out the mix cd's, lol. The ones made by me. Pure nostalgia. I was surprised it played those because they were burned. It played the tapes well also and they sounded almost as good as the cd's. The boombox volume goes to 30 on the digital display. It's just loud enough for the purpose. It comes with a remote and it has blue tooth for music streaming services which is a huge plus because I do enjoy the convenience of the technological advances of today. I just needed something to blast my past on. Well, it really doesn't blast but...Good enough!

I love this thing!! It is so nostalgic but not only that it really works well. I have it in the basement gym. I have all these old cassettes from the 80s and am able to play them perfectly. It also has a cd player so I'm able to play them too! I have been using it with the radio mostly too, and it has an antenna that you can extend. You can also connect your phone or any bluetooth device to it, so you can use it as a speaker. This thing is not too big, but it works amazingly well and the sound is clear. The screen is digital and very easy to figure out. It comes with a remote control but I havent really used it yet. I'm so very happy with it.
