Decent quality scalp revitalizing solution by dr.groot. Simple to use method. Says it gives results in two weeks and while I haven’t noticed thicker or fuller hair. It’s definitely great for scalp detox especially if you get a lot of product buildup. It’s easy to dispense and a little goes a long way. Doesn’t lather or anything but does clean well. Doesn’t have a strong or bad scent. Good on sensitive skin. Has a purple hue to it. Haven’t noticed any negative effects when using this product. It is a bit pricey compared to other scalp detox products. But works well and I would recommend it.

Leaves my head feeling cleansed
For context, my hair is fine, thin, and wavy. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and use heat products (iron and blow dryer) sparingly. My scalp in particular does get oily pretty quickly but I have been using a rosemary oil 1x a wee which has helped moisturize my scalp making it not get oily as quickly. I try to use this on days that I know I have a lot of product buildup (dry shampoo, leave in conditioner, oil treatments, hairspray, etc...) which is 1x a week. There's a faint citrus herbal balm smell to this and the menthol provides a light minty/tingly feeling on my scalp. It's closer to a water consistency than oil or shampoo. Once I put this on, I gently massage this in with my fingers or a silicone shampoo brush. There is little to no lather from this but it does leave my head feeling fresh after a few minutes. I've been using this 1x/week for a little over 6 weeks now and my hair by the roots looks less dull and I have less flakiness by the scalp.

Dr. Groot Scalp Revitalizing Solution Scalp Exfoliating Detox Water (ASIN : B0FY722KL2) The bottle has a nice long nozzle, so there is no problem getting the detox water down to my scalp. I like this better than the pump bottle type of scalp products. The solutions works up to a small fine lather, so it's easy to get through my fine hair, all over my scalp. It rinses out fairly cleanly, but since you're supposed to use this first, then shampoo, it doesn't matter too much if you get it all out. Being winter, I do tend to get more scalp flakes in the dry air. So far, this is helping, especially getting the finer dry skin scale on my scalp off with just one treatment.

My husband has proclaimed Dr. Groot Scalp Revitalizing Solution as "The Holy Grail" in hair products. My husband has normal dandruff plus flakes from excess daily hair-growth product. After he shampoos his hair, he always goes through it with a comb, expecting to get lots of dandruff flakes out. After using Dr. Groot the first time, he did not get any flakes on his comb. Neither of us was expecting such great results from a product that is so easy and quick to use. He now uses it every time he washes his hair and no longer has this flaky issue.This product is worth the price! It will last a long time and it works so well in getting dandruff and other products off of the scalp. My husband is asking me to order other Dr. Groot hair products as he is so impressed with this one.
What a difference 2 weeks made!
For reference, I am a 37 yo woman with combo/dry skin (t zone gets oily but the rest of my face is dry) and my scalp seems to have the same issues. My fine, 2A hair comes to the top of my rear end and is highlighted about 3 times year. I havent tried something like this before, and wow- what a difference 2 weeks makes!I looked at the listing and it said yoh should notice a difference in about 2 weeks. So, I gave it a try, washing everywhere day for the last 14 days, about 10 uses(as my husband tried it too). Ive included a picture of little product was needed to achieve results. It seems like a bottle this size should last about 3 months, if I continue to use it at the same frequency.I have noticed that my scalp feels less itchy, especially since here in the NE US we are now experiencing colder weather and dry air. My hair also did not get greasy as fast. Usually, I was every other day, using a dryer shampoo on the in-between days. I was able to skip the dry shampoo yesterday! I also have noticed a little more fullness at the roots, but not much, so far. I have changed nothing else in my routine, as ive been using the same hair care for about 6 months now. So, I have to mark the changes to this product.The liquid seems kind of like oil in water, so I am assuming it is bi-phase, so i shake it before use. The smell seems a little strong before applying, but once rinsed out, you barely notice it. It does have a slight cooling effect upon application, but no burning. It smells faintly of herbs, Eucalyptus and a dash of citrus and maybe menthol?It has a lot of the same hero ingredients in the skincare I like, such as; panthenol, sayclilc acid, Niacinamide, adenosine, arginine, rice bran extract and some fermented bacterium- All hallmarks of great Korean skincare. I am so glad I found this product and will continue to use it all winter long! The price point is a bit higher than I usually spend, but considering it will last 3-4 months, it is actually very reasonable at about $11/mo or less.
