These spool pin caps are a basic standard size that should fit most machines. They do fit my Babylock machine but not my Viking.For some machines, a spool pin cap is optional if your thread is standing upright, but for those with horizontal spool pins, a cap is essential. And they do go missing. I've lost a few over the years and I'm pretty careful about keeping my stuff in order.You get two each of 3 sizes of cap (for different sized thread spools) in this set and at a decent price. This should be enough to last you a long time. You can even share with a friend!I did find them a bit looser than I like. But if you've lost your spool pin caps, and have a Singer, Babylock or Brother machine (and possibly others) these are for you.

Spool pin caps are important for smooth sewing when your sewing machine has a horizontal spool pin, but those little caps are easy to misplace (or accidentally toss in the trash can!).This set of 6 spool caps, in 3 different sizes, are made of heavy plastic with smooth edges that won’t snag thread as it feeds off the spool. They fit perfectly on my Juki sewing machine, and I’m confident they will fit other modern machines.I test a lot of used sewing machines, and they often come to me without this spool cap, so I’ll definitely keep these in my “spares” box. The price is inexpensive enough to keep some of these on hand when you need them!
