This is AI slop. You can tell by the cover, and how it looks a lot like other pictures and book covers of specifically images that were made in generative AI with the prompt “make this image in AI”and it’s copyright. Sony Pictures, they will sue. The film’s creator and director Maggie Kang, she most definitely can, and I personally would push this litigation. I am a published author, so I know what should and shouldn’t pass as a book. I also am a screenwriter for television, and have networked enough to actually befriend Kang’s husband, another writer in television and film. At this point, this AI book’s listing on Bolo just breaks so many rules of ethics and legality. How dare you.

The characters in the book are labeled incorrectly on the illustration pictures. The story is different from the actual movie. Looks like this was created with AI TBH.
