Whenever I leave the house, I lay these down for my dogs' convenience. I'd rather pick up a wet pee pad than clean up the wood floor with a spray bottle and paper towels. They also come in handy when it's really too cold for my short-haired dogs to go outside in the middle of a La Nina winter, or when it's raining and my Divas don't want to get wet (else they will melt). They are plenty big enough for my two small dogs to both use. The hole in the one pictured is because they come pretty tightly packed and it was hard to get the first one out of the package without tearing.

***Read the last paragraph for using these with child-training.Although my present 3-year-old dog is already house-trained, having these puppy pads on hand for rainy days or for traveling seemed like a useful idea. Dog trainers will tell you that you are confusing your dog when you want them to go outside for their business, but now you are encouraging them to do it in the house. So think carefully before you introduce these during house-training. But for incontinent or elderly dogs, they’re a great idea.The pads came in the company’s own sturdy corrugated box and wrapped in a thick plastic bag. I appreciated this right away, as they survived the gully washer on delivery day.They are about 20” square. Other reviews say they are hard to unfold, but I didn’t find them a problem at all . As you can see from the photo of my very wet 16-pound terrier, the pad would be adequately sized for a small to medium-sized dog. You would want to spread more around for larger dogs to avoid them missing the target.They claim to incorporate a scent that attracts dogs to the pad, but I did not observe Piper being interested. It might be different for an untrained puppy.To test the pad’s absorbency, I poured 4 oz of water on the middle of one. It began absorbing the water immediately and contained it well from the edges. I could feel the inner layers of gel becoming squishy like a used diaper would. The water did not leak through the back.The only concern I had was the ease with which I was able to tear the pad. If your dog is the type who likes to “cover” her mess by scratching the ground, the pad could easily be damaged, which might lead to a mess on the floor. Worse, the dog could ingest the product. So I can’t recommend using the pads without supervision.With those caveats in mind, they still seemed useful. They would have been helpful if my own dog were used to using them on that rain-soaked day!**One additional use would be for potty-training by the “bare bottom” technique. With this method, the supervised child spends time without pants in a confined area, like a kitchen, where a potty is placed. She practices getting to the potty without the hassle of dropping her pants. These pads would keep your floor clean while she gets the hang of timing her potty runs.

excellent protectant pads for your floors for any life stage, whether it's for training a puppy or helping make things a little easier for your senior dog. these are pretty well-sized, making it perfect for any situation where protection for the floor is necessary. also very absorbant and handles puddles well. makes for very easy clean ups and gives more time to hang out with pups instead of clean.

Not to big or small, just the right size to take care of the corners our puppies have selected. Training puppies can be a challenge, but these have taken some of that away. For those late nights where we don't catch the mess until the morning, these have held up well. Seepage is very little to none and pickup is simple as folding and disposal. They have been durable enough to give us the helping hand we need. Good value for for this 100 count so we don't feel the pinch in the wallet every time we have to dispose of one.

These absorbant pads are very versatile... I use them with our puppy, to line the plastic shoe tray to absorb any liquid from the shoes and boots, and to dry pots and pans when I run out of dish rack space. The size is 22"x22". For smaller applications, they could be cut and placed anywhere desired. I've had ticker pads in the past when compared to these ones, but the functionality is the same. Unless they get saturated with a ton of liquid, the thickness won't come into play. Great value for the 100 count that's included in the carton box. Highly recommended!

We buy these to put in our litter box enclosure because our cats are older and one misses the litterbox when she pees. This keeps everything contained, absorbs it all easily and keeps our floors and the enclosure from being saturated with urine and destroyed. These lock in the moisture and are very easy to use. Definitely a must have if you have a pet that has accidents or misses the litter box. They say they are for dogs, but we prefer the "dog" ones since they are larger and cover more surface area to ensure that there is more of the floor protected.

These are a good value potty pad, as in 100 pads at the current price point is a good value in my opinion. They are a small size pad at just under 22"x22," and they are very thin. They do have the diamond weave they show here, yet I do not see how they could possibly have 6 layers. I have tried dozens of different types of pads, and these are among the thinnest I have ever seen. They don't stop pee from going over the edge like some pads do, but they don't leak all the way through if you use a new pad often. My dogs only go once and then I throw the pad away. They are also 7lbs each, so they are small pups. I still have to put 2-3 of these next to each other to give them enough space to go. I put washable pee pads under all disposable pads, so I may order these again even though they're pretty thin.
