I have done a number of builds by CaDA builds and have recently started on some of their Supercar and Master series. I loved how the C6401W Yangwang U9 Building Set looked so wanted to add it to my collection.This set is a BEAST! The end model is almost two feet long so it will definitely be a great display piece (even though it's motorized, I generally just display my builds). At almost 3700 pieces and 4.5 pounds, it is definitely a solid build. The age range states 14+ years but, even at 14 it may be a challenge for those without a decent history building. The manual is over 400 pages long!The set comes in a beautiful box with images of the finished build all over it. Inside, all of the bricks and manual are in numbered boxes. Those boxes all have images on the car on them, another nice touch. You will be going through the boxes in order with each holding a few different bag numbers. The bricks are all Lego compatible and snap together very easily.I have done other motorized sets and this set is at the top of the pile when it comes to the manual. Each step is nicely laid out and assembly points are clear. Critical steps are also highlighted (position of axles/pins or gear wheels to avoid malfunctions with playing with the car later). While technic style models generally have gaps, CaDA has done a great job in minimizing these spaces giving it a more realistic look. I also like that the bricks are printed with no stickers required with the exception of on the battery. The wiring is laid out nicely in the manual although it is a bit tight inside due to the amount of wires. With each wheel being controlled by its own motor and servos for the suspension, it gets somewhat busy.The only negative thing I can say is that the tires are made of plastic vs. rubber which does look a bit cheap. As it's a display piece for me, I won't ding stars but, if half stars were a thing I would drop to a 4.5 star review.I haven't finished the model as I am taking my time to enjoy it but it has been a great build so far. It is one of the best car builds I have worked on so far and I can't wait to hang it up to display it. It is well designed, beautifully packaged and there was a lot of care taken into account when putting the manual together. At $310, it is a pricey model, but, at least in my opinion, it is well worth the price for a beautiful, and driveable model.

This was a really fun build. Parts fit together really good. The car has a bit of weight to it. With that I feel it could have been built with a little more structural strength it feels a bit flimsy when fully assembled. All the features work well except the lighting. It is lack luster. Only the part of the lights where the build connects really shines the led is not bright enough to give the full effect. The remote functions are really cool it will drive on short carpet or hard floor surface. There is a slight delay in input and cammand but nothing too extreme. All in all was a fun build that did offer a little challenge.

Wow a very large set. The box it comes in weighs about 15-20 pounds. The car is very large the wheel diameter is 3 inches! The instructions are easy to follow, bags are clearly labeled, and I did not have any missing pieces. It’s a very high quality set and the motor is a nice addition. The set is pricey but I think is still a good value for the money. I think an equivalent Leo set would cost more.

I had to look up the U9 since we don’t have the BYD / YangWang car brand in the USA. I was seriously impressed with the specs I found, especially the 300mph tested top speed and claimed advanced suspension. The car costs $250k+ USD! This R/C model is an ambitious model that not only has the basic forward/back/steering movement but also includes an homage to the U9’s active suspension by way of a “dancing” mode. The set is quite large and is a similar scale to Lego’s largest, premium Technic vehicles like the blue Bugatti and orange 911. Remote control is handled via Bluetooth by a free mobile app (no physical remote included), a concern if the app ever loses developer support. The app is available at the CaDA website (link is in the instruction manual), but it’s a little unclear which of the three CaDA apps you should download. An innovation on the app side is support for your device’s accelerometer which responds to tilting your phone. I appreciate that the model is officially licensed, so the wheel design and badging are as accurate as possible. Decorations are printed (not stickers). The presentation & box are excellent and feels premium. Instructions are well done but with any Technic style vehicle, take your time to avoid having to backtrack to fix errors. Recommended for fans of LEGO’s largest Technic super cars. Compatible with the major brands.

Just when I thought that building out major models couldn't get any better, I get one with RC! this thing is huge! It's beautiful! It's a beast of a build! (I mean, when you buy a nice model you don't want the build to be over too soon right?) It's a big, time-consuming build. But being able to drive it when it's done is just primo! It's got some moving parts that have been a lot of fun. I wouldn't recommend it for a kid or novice - it's a big, involved build. But SO worth it if you don't know what to do for the car guy or gal in your life!
