Was machen wir denn nur ohne Mick Taylor......
Black And Blue entstand damals als Mick Taylor bei den Stones ausgestiegen war. Sie nahmen neue Songs mit verschiedenen Gitarristen auf. Einer war der gänzlich unbekannte Wayne Perkins, der eine schöne Gitarre bei Hand Of Fate spielt. Das gesamte Werk ist aber eher zwiespältig. Einerseits großartige Songs wie Memory Hotel oder auch Melody, ungewöhnliche Songs wie Fool To Cry, aber auch übliche Stones Kracher wie Crazy Mama. Wenn man diese Musik seit 50 Jahren kennt, dann ist die verbesserte Klangqualität durch Steven Wilson wohl der wichtigste Aspekt. Sound ist für mich sehr wichtig, Weil mir die 2er CD allerdings völlig reicht, möchte ich noch zwei Sätze zur Bonus CD schreiben. Sie enthält zwei typische, bisher unveröffentlichte Stones Songs. Sie sind gut, aber nun nicht unbedingt so gut, dass man sie unbedingt haben muß. Interessant sind für mich da eher die Instrumental Sessionstücke, u.a. mit Harvey Mandel und Jeff Beck. Sie waren damals, wie schon geschrieben auf der Suche nach einem neuen Gitarristen. Am Ende einigten sie sich auf Ronnie Wood, der allerdings meiner Ansicht nach nicht die Größe von Mick Taylor hatte. Im Laufe der Jahre ist er besser geworden, allerdings klangen die Stones ja später auch wie ihre eigene Coverband. Am Schlimmsten waren auch immer ihre uralten Hits bei Konzerten. Ähnlich wie die WHO hat sich das irgendwie tot gelaufen. Now The Past Is Gone hat Bob Dylan mal gesagt.Die Sessionaufnahmen gefallen mir dennoch. Sie sind nicht fantastisch, aber sie zeigen Musiker die einfach loslegen. Sicherlich wollte man sie nicht veröffentlichen, aber durch die kommerzielle Verwertung alter Aufnahmen werden die CD'S durch bisher unveröffentlichten Songs eher verkauft. Bleibt als Fazit: Eine gute CD für alte Leute, die die damalige Zeit miterlebt haben. Viele waren damals vom Verständnis her Träumer und Revolutionäre. Wobei das Letztere aufgrund der Karriere geopfert wurde. Man kann halt etwas nicht merken, weil man gar nicht auf die Idee kommt, sich diese Frage zu stellen. Aber das ist wieder ein anderes Thema. Und ob Mick Jagger damals noch an Demonstrationen für die gute Sache teilgenommen hat, dass wage ich doch zu bezweifel. Aber er da ja nicht der oder die Einzige. Kein Wunder in welcher Realität wir heute einschlafen und morgens nur bedingt aufwachen.

Diese CD ist was ganz besonderes.Ist sehr zu empfehlen.Für Stones-Fans sollte es in der Sammlung sein….gute Musik…Stones mit sehr guten Gästen…perfekt…🎸🎩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
