Easy to Install and Makes Writing Feel Natural
I used to carry around 3–4 notebooks at a time for school and my daily to-do lists, but I recently switched to using an iPad for note-taking. The only thing I wasn’t completely happy with was how writing felt on the screen; it just didn’t feel natural.After scrolling through Bolo, I came across the Paperlike screen protector, and I decided to give it a try. I was honestly blown away by the quality and overall experience.Installation was something I was a little nervous about, but they made it incredibly easy. It comes with peel-off tabs, a tool to help position it, and even a QR code that links to a step-by-step video. (Seriously, the video was impressive. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and everything went smoothly.The biggest difference is how it feels when writing. It genuinely mimics the feeling of writing on paper instead of a slippery glass screen, which has made a huge difference in my note-taking experience.Another thing I really appreciate is that it doesn’t compromise the screen quality. The display still looks clear and sharp, which was something I was concerned about before purchasing.Overall, this was a great upgrade for my iPad, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who uses their device for writing, note-taking, or school.
Awesome screen protector, flubbed the first install.
Despite adequate warning in the video instructions my first try to install was nearly a disaster. The two screen protectors were practically statically bonded and I had made it halfway through peeling the dust removing layer before I realized I was accidentally installing both screen protectors at the same time! This completely trashed the second screen protector and resulted in dust remaining under the first. Ordered a second set and the install went much smoother this time. Easy to apply, and completely dust/bubble free this time.Being as thin as it is, I’m not sure how much protecting the screen protector will do. I have no doubt it will keep most daily scratch sources from leaving a mark but I wouldn’t expect it to do much more than that.As to the reason to try the Paperlike over another beefier screen protector, the paper like feel. It really does a feel a lot closer to writing on paper when paired with the pencil. Absolutely fantastic, 10/10 on that aspect. Writing and drawing are much more enjoyable on the iPad after installing the Paperlike. As a bonus the dots that provide the extra friction also provide a matte appearance with some glare reduction.Overall, very happy.
Highly recommend the new installation technique is 100 time improved over prior version
As someone who has applied dozens of screen protectors to my cell phones over the years? I am very experienced at installing screen protectors with that being said this is the second paper like screen protector that I have purchased. The prior version I do have to say was difficult to install and I did get dust particles and the alignment was very difficult to get right and I was not able to get it aligned perfectly which ultimately caused problems and pealing when inserting the ipad in a case. This is what ultimately led to me replacing it with this version of the paper like. The new installation technique available now is far superior to the prior version. After watching the installation video and following all the instructions. My screen protector came out perfect the alignment is perfect. I have no air bubbles left and I have no dust particles under the screen protector. I highly recommend this product to anyone and if you have tried this product before you need to try it again because the new version is outstanding.
Great for sketching and writing
Just got this screen protector for my new iPad Pro 11 inch M5. Here is my honest review and I hope it helps. First, this is a screen protector BUT it is one to be used to write and draw with. So yes the clarity of the screen is not the best but it’s not awful (I don’t know how to explain it but you can see little colored dots. Like the protector is refracting the lights). Kinda annoying not going to lie. The purpose of my iPad is for school so I plan on note taking and typing a lot with my magic keyboard. Not using it to watch movies. Second, the installation process is not hard but it is very important to watch all the videos before hand. Kinda a pain not going to lie. But if you do it right it’s worth it, and kinda easy once you watch the videos and understand. You definitely need a table with a clean space so that you don’t run the risk of getting dust or hair. Overall, I really like how it feels when writing on it. Yes it will scratch but come on, everything scratches. Like I said this is meant to be used as an aid to help you write better on a glass screen. So if you’re looking to just protect your screen this might not be your best purchase. The price is a bit high but it comes with two of them so that’s a plus. The fit and cut is perfect. Great quality in my opinion. Feels really cool when you run your fingers over it.
