This particular gimbal setup is designed for IPhone use, just make sure your IPhone is compatible with the gimbal prior to purchasing. The sellers ad clearly states what iPhones are compatible with the MOGO Gimbal, so be sure to double check that information. The only feature this gimbal setup doesn’t offer over other setups I’m familiar with is that the MOGO Gimbal doesn’t have a built in extendable selfie style stick setup. Other than that feature, this gimbal setup performs and looks pretty much like others which is awesome since this setup is specifically for iPhones!This gimbal setup is made really well and solid as can be with all the functions/features working perfectly with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I’ve experienced a slight learning curve with the MOGO Gimbal, but, that’s nothing negative against this gimbal setup, it’s on my end. Several features this gimbal setup offers stand out over other gimbals I’ve used! Some of those features are the ease of use of the iPhones shutter, starting/stopping videoing, gimbal panning, and a Super Smooth Zoom system! The magnetic disc used on the MOGO Gimbal is Incredibly STRONG with ZERO Need to remove your case off your iPhone as politely suggested. At least that’s been my experience with the MOGO Gimbals magnetic disc and my particular iPhones case. The iPhone case being used with the MOGO Gimbal isn’t overly thick or a fancy case, but, I’ve had no issues with the magnetic disc on the gimbal!Pairing the MOGO gimbal setup with my iPhone was SIMPLE and Straightforward, just follow the included instruction booklet. Other than the MOGO Gimbal itself, you also receive a charging cable, storage/travel baggy, remote control(battery installed)and tripod(*NOTE*, you do need to source your own power brick in order to charge the gimbal). In my opinion the MOGO Gimbal setup is affordably priced and well worth taking a closer look at for a possible purchase.**Special Note** in regard to the App associated with the MOGO Gimbal. The App Requires you to give Full Access to ALL your photos and videos on your iPhone. If you don’t allow the request, you Won’t be able to access the Album in the App. Other than that aspect, I haven’t found any other features you won’t have access to if you decide Not to give full access to your iPhones photos and videos. The App Does have some good resources to view in regard to using the MOGO Gimbal setup. It offers basic and advanced videos to view.***Special Note*** in regard to the App’s photo/video album. Regardless if you allow for Full access or NOT to your photos and videos on your iPhone via App access, your iPhone will Still save them!! Photos and videos you capture will be sent to and stored on your iPhones album storage section. From there, you’re able to edit as usual.****LAST Special Note****—You Don’t have to purchase/use/own an Apple Watch in order to use ALL the features/functions offered with/by the MOGO Gimbal setup! During my testing of the MOGO Gimbal, I didn’t find anything feature/function wise that I missed out on by NOT using my Apple Watch in conjunction with the gimbal. Later on if I discover anything that I’ve been missing out on in regard to not using my Apple Watch with the MOGO Gimbal, I’ll come back and update with additional info. I will also provide additional testing using my Apple Watch which at the time of writing this review is the most current model.

I’ve used several gimbals before, but this gimbal stabilizer for iPhone truly stands out, especially if you're deep into the apple ecosystem. This device is packed with smart features that go beyond just stabilizing your iPhone camera. From the moment you take it out of the box, it feels apple-native. The DockKit API integration allows face tracking not just in the native camera app, but across all video apps like FaceTime, Teams, Zoom, and more. That alone makes it more than just a gimbal; it turns into a pan-and-tilt webcam or vlogging companion with minimal setup. Mounting your phone is a breeze due to the magnetic attachment. No clips or balancing act required. Just tap your iPhone (top side) onto the NFC sensor to instantly pair it. I use an iPhone 16 Pro Max with iOS 18.5, and it paired and calibrated in seconds. The 360° tracking is incredibly smooth and responsive.I tested this during a FaceTime call while walking around my kitchen and it never lost me. I ordered this Only for iPhone MOGO Gimbal, because I love gadgets. I had seen Gimbals before, but I didn’t really know what they were called or what they were for. This MOGO gimbal is just for Apple iPhones. It works well with my iPhone 12. When taking videos or photos, while you are on the move, the gimbal stabilizes the camera on your phone, so there is very little to no shake. It was easy to pair it to my phone, by NFC. You hold your iPhone 12, or above, up to the top of the joystick looking part of the Gimbal. Within a minute or so, it will ask to connect. Once it has connected, it will recognize your phone, when you turn on the Gimbal and attach your phone to the magnetic piece. This device has a remote control. It is tiny, so it fits easily in your pocket. It also comes with a tabletop tripod. The legs on the tripod can be folded to form a handle. I like to use it that way, but you can set the gimbal on a table or counter, while you move around. The Gimbal will track your movement, as long as you don’t move too fast. If you get out of its sight, like going through a door, it will turn until it finds movement. Mine started recording what was on my Echo Show, when I went into another room, for a few seconds. You can control the movement of the Gimbal, from the remote or the handle of the gimbal and can start and stop recording or snap photos from both. You can also change it from front view to rear view both ways. I have been having fun with this. My preteen granddaughter has also used it, to go around my yard recording different flowers and identifying them, for the recording, as she videos them. The Gimbal will not charge your phone. There is an app you can install on your phone, to use with this, but I used this MOGO Gimbal without the app and it worked very well.
