I was skeptical at first. I have a vape that has been in my desk for 6 months that I tried. But it seems harsh and I can’t draw on it like I can a cigarette, but I can pull on the breathing necklace like it was a cigarette not to mention that it is so handy hanging around my neck. The first day I wore it I only smoked 1 cigarette on the way home from work and I usually smoke 3, The traffic on my way home is all freeway and lots of it, just grabbing the necklace instead of digging for a cigarette and lighter or my vape was so easy. On the 4th day I left it at home and caught myself reaching for the necklace on my morning break instead of lighting up a cigarette. In just the week I have used it I have cut back on the number of cigarettes I smoke. I feel that this necklace may just be the thing that eventually helps me stop smoking.

I suppose I thought this product would offer some resistance as it advertises tricking your brain into believing you were smoking or vaping. It’s more like drawing air through a large straw, which doesn’t trick your brain into anything. Cold turkey is probably best because even at $20 this seriously isn’t worth the little bit of money.

I used to be a smoker, but without planning or meaning to, I kicked the nic habit after a prolonged hospital stay. Although I was over the physiological side of it, I still didn't want to give up the habit of the puff, so I vaped a no-nic blend which was flavorful and satisfied my desire to puff. That was great until my state banned vape flavors.So I've been looking at other alternatives which might help satisfy the oral fixation and flavor craving.This is an interesting item.It looks a little like an old-fashioned metro whistle, hanging from a chain around your neck. Personally I'm not a fan of wearing the necklace. I don't know what metal it's made of; it looks like stainless steel, but gives no indication.When you suck through it, it does not have the kind of resistance you'd expect from a typical cig-replacement object. That it, not enough resistance to mimic the draw into the mouth where you'd then pull into the lungs.Rather, it's a bit more like a narrow straw, and you just inhale directly into the lungs through it.You unscrew the body of it and insert this hollow cylindrical "core" which is infused with some kind of volatile flavored oil, which is then imparted as a mild flavor to the air which you inhale through the straw.It's... not the same thing. It takes some getting used to, and a little mental adjustment, to remind yourself that this is a device which is used differently. Once you get used to it, it can be a handy fidget, but I can't speak to it's effectiveness at helping someone who is actively trying to quitThe mint flavor from the cores is quite noticeable, but leaves a bit of a weird aftertaste which I don't care for.I have no idea what's in it. I know other compatible flavor cores are available for purchase, and I will try some of those too, as I might prefer something like a citrus rather than a mint flavor.

This came fairly quickly inside a plastic bag. The metal is nice and thick, and has a good weight to it, and the chain is also nice. However, the little mint tubes smell TERRIBLE. It's definitely a mint smell, but also almost an incense type smell that was extremely off putting. There were zero ingredients listed, so I just don't trust it at all. I won't be using this with the pods. I might use it without them.

I figured it was a long shot but my partner has been talking about quitting vaping for years now so I thought it was at least worth a try. To his credit, he gave it an honest try but if you are someone that has a true chemical dependance issue with nicotine rather than a fixation or habit, then this isn't going to help you. He thought maybe if he took a drag from the vape then the necklace he could try to use it as a replacement behavior type of thing but that didn't really work.I smoked for years but fortunately never developed a dependence, it just became habit, this may have been useful for me. The chain is a good quality and its a discreet design, but it definitely doesn't look like jewelry. I like the minty flavor, and I think that could especially help if people are used to flavored or menthol vapes/cigarettes. But be careful, I sucked too hard one time and got a mouthful of minty essential oil or something and it was kind of gross.Overall, if you're using this to break a habit or for anxiety this could work. But if you are actually addicted to nicotine this is unlikely to help by itself.

This breathing necklace is simple but thoughtfully designed. It feels solid and well made, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to if you use it properly. I was pleasantly surprised by the little mint insert it comes with…it adds a refreshing touch and makes the experience feel more intentional. That was a nice bonus I hadn’t seen before.If you’re new to breathwork, I highly recommend looking up a few techniques online. There’s more to it than just exhaling through the device, and once you find a rhythm that works for you, the benefits really start to show. Great for calming down, focusing, or just taking a break.Overall, this tool does what it promises, and with a little practice, it can make a real difference. Definitely recommend.
