This threshold riser has been an absolute lifesaver. The quality is excellent—sturdy, stable, and built to last. I couldn't wait to install it as soon as it arrived. The ramp is lightweight and easy to move, so I could easily install it by myself. After using it for a week, I found it very stable, and the non-slip surface makes it very safe for getting on and off the wheelchair. I'm very satisfied!

I used mine for a floor-to-floor rise of about 4.5 inches or about right in the middle between the non-adjustable 4 inch ramps and 5 inch ramps. It dealt with a 300 or so pound load with no problems at all. I also liked the non-skid surface which was great for actually stepping up-down while pushing chairs with no worries about slipping. I thought the price was very reasonable. I also drilled a hole at each top corner and screwed it to the threshold. I doubt it would have slid out of position but I wanted to make extra sure.

Too dangerous for my 94 year old Dad with dementia and his rolling walker. It actually created a higher risk for falling.It’s like better for a very low rise threshold.
