I am gutting my mom’s house and renovating it. It’s about two hours away, so I cannot be there and I need to be able to monitor the construction workers as I’ve been ripped off before. I needed an affordable, reliable way to track hours—this NGTeco Time Clock (TC4) has been a game changer. When I’m done using it in that way, I’ll be using it for other things like for my kid. I can think of many other ways to use this item actually. Setup was super simple. It connected to our 2.4G WiFi right away, and the instructions were clear enough that I had it up and running in about 15 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it recognized fingerprints. The construction workers definitely are not tech savvy and they had no problem using it. The app and cloud-based software are where this really shines. I can check attendance and hours from my phone, which is so convenient. I also love that I can customize rules—like setting up grace periods and break times—right from the remote software. (i’m not using those options at the moment but I just like to know I have the ability to do that if I choose. The fingerprint scanner is pretty accurate. Every once in a while, someone has to scan twice, but nothing major. Reporting features are straightforward and made payment a lot smoother this month. A few things could be better: The PC software feels a bit outdated, like it could use a facelift. The app is not that great. I can’t get some options to work. Remote control works, but takes some time to figure out. Not hard, just not super intuitive at first. All in all, great value for the price. If you're looking for an easy, cloud-based time clock for a small team, I recommend this one. It’s saved me time, headaches, and made tracking hours way more accurate. It has taken me a while to review this item, because I had to wait before I could install it to actually give it a proper review and rating. This little device is great for a small office/warehouse/retail shop. It will capture the fingerprints of each employee making it way more difficult or even impossible for a friend to sign in for them. It has a ton of functionality and is a quality product, I have found it to be accurate and very easy to use and great value for money. If you need more features than this offers or have a bigger workforce then look at their larger model that also connects with the internet instead of just USB and integrates with accounting software.

Worst product ever
If I could leave less than one star for this review, I would. To say that I hate this device would be a complete understatement. What an absolute piece of junk! I have never used a more frustrating piece of equipment in my life. This is the least user friendly product I’ve ever purchased, and it comes with zero instructions on how to set it up properly. Do not waste your money on this garbage.
