We have a couple other grinders that we use, but needed one that was a bit higher grade. We have many lunches/dinners and people always ask about being able to have more granularity in grinding pepper. So, I decided to purchase this new grinder to meet those needs.After using this grinder for several days, I have been impressed with how well this grinder works and how easy it is to grind pepper.What I really like about this grinder:- Solid/Sturdy feel. (has a little weight to it, but very reasonable).- Very professional feel.- Aluminum casing.- Silicon pad on bottom lid (prevent slipping).- Magnetic bottom lid. (very easy to remove and put back on when dispensing pepper).- Release button on the top lid. (to add more pepper).- Very easy and smooth to turn the grinder body, thus making grinding very easy - no forcing.- Granularity settings on how much to grind the pepper (fine - coarse). It has more granularity settings as compared to other grinder. The smaller numbers is for very fine grinding versus larger numbers means more course.- The included brush for cleaning is very helpful.I have not had any issues with using this grinder. Pepper is grinded up very easily and comes out perfect. The ability to adjust the grind level (granularity) is nice, especially with the numerous settings on the dial. Several people in our family already commented on it that it was a very solid grinder.Items that can be improved: (no impact to the product itself).- Instructions manual has many minor grammar errors. This does not affect using the product. Instructions still helpful.- Lettering on the dial could be a little bigger (this is subjective and really depends on your eyesight).Overall, this grinder has worked out very well for us. Much more professional than the other ones that we use. Will continue to use this grinder for our lunches/dinners.

I will start with this statement: This peppermill is the best product I have ordered on Bolo in almost 30 years as a customer. I am an aeronautical engineer by degree and profession and I see this something that fits in with both the demands for aerospace precision and the high demands of a professional chef. Not only does this product use precision milled aluminum, it has design features that makes a chef's life easy with a multi-grind pepper size.Precision located magnets are used to keep the bottom cap attached to the grinder end piece. The end piece is easy to remove and easy to place on the unit. The top of the unit is easy to remove with a small push on the top button to reload peppercorns.In use, I tested the range of pepper grinds from 5 to 100 on a 0 to 100 scale as seen in the photos. The photos show 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100 on the rotating peppermill's scale settings. At level 5, the pepper grind is powdery and perfect for soft foods like eggs or fish. At level 50, the grind works great for cooked beef and pork meats. At level 100, the grinds are huge and perfect for charcuteries that need that cracked pepper crunch on top of the cheeses and thinly sliced prosciutto. All of these adjustments can be made on the fly while preparing food which results in amazing versatility. Refilling is easy with a simple push-button-release on the top of the unit to gain access to the peppercorn reservoir.Packaging is excellent and the items are well protected during shipping. I only wish I could give more than 5 stars for this peppermill for its precision machining and culinary performance. Highly recommended.

As part of Bolo Vine, I received the SavoraVoy Manual Pepper Grinder and was genuinely impressed by its construction. The all-metal body feels exceptionally solid, and the aerospace-grade aluminum paired with a stainless steel core reflects a level of engineering you rarely see in kitchen tools.Functionally, it’s a standout performer. Grinding is smooth and effortless—even for those with limited grip strength. The 99-level adjustment dial offers granular control that would satisfy anyone from a casual home cook to a seasoned chef. It’s thoughtfully designed, from the magnetic seal lid to the silicone base for stability.But here's the issue: the $199 price tag feels disproportionate, especially when compared to other grinders that deliver similar performance at a fraction of the cost. While I appreciate the quality and aesthetic, I can’t overlook how much this affects value perception. I would love to see this design offered at a more accessible price point.If cost isn’t a concern and you’re seeking a premium experience, this grinder will serve you well. Otherwise, the price might leave you grinding your teeth more than your pepper.

Wow! This thing is a beast. It's very heavy and not very pretty, so keep that in mind. Kind of reminds me of a military flashlight.This mill grinds pepper like a machine; the output is insane, and you can definitely dial in the coarseness. The only real complaint I have is that the coarse dial is too close to where you place your hand to turn the mill. So that means you are also turning that dial when you are turning the mill, which then means it changes the coarseness as you're turning. I would have deducted a star for that design flaw, because it's annoying that I need to reset my grind each time I forget to place my hand just a bit higher. BUT, it's so good at milling pepper that I find its worth it.Just be prepared to have a lot of ground pepper in a very short time. The magnetic plate at the bottom I use for holding the ground pepper so I can have more control of how much I place on/in my food. Otherwise, it can be a bit much if you're just needing a dash.
