was easy to put together. 250 pounds with no problems. i’m using a knee scooter - non weight bearing.. so up n down the stairs just fine. will keep for moving heavy stuff to n from my home in the future

This ramp is used to load Charolette the pot belly pig onto the suv to take her to the vet. Prior to owning this ramp it was hard to get her loaded.Now she goes up-and-down it without any issues.Well worth the money spent.

These ramps are a great solution for low single step. My brother uses a wheelchair and we always had to lift him in his chair up to get him up a 5” deck. The ramps are surprising light and unfold easily. I keep them stored in my hall closet and can easily move them with one hand. I might order another set to keep in my car trunk for when we go out in the community. I have posted links to these ramps on several Stroke forums as a lightweight but sturdy portable ramp option.

This is a very solid durabke ramp and is very easy to use and transport. The size isn't too big or cumbersome and make access into areas with steps a breeze. Great quality and value. I highly recommend this ramp!

2025-08-18. Wheelchair ramp by WheelX. 600 lbs capacity. Folding. Aluminum. Portable. Anti-slip surface. 2-feet.A ramp is a a great way to overcome thresholds and a portable one is an amazing idea. This ram is made of aluminum to help keep the weight of the unit down. It's also sturdy enough to support up to 600lbs which is more than enough. At 28-inches wide, it's a bit of a tight fit, but it does accommodate most wheelchairs. There are a couple of nice safety features I'd like to point out. The first is that the surface is textured for grip. And the second are the guard rails to ensure you don't roll off sides.I had planned on using this for when I take my Dad to some of his appointments and what I found was that for the 2-foot length, you're pushing it with the angle when it comes to a 6-inch rise. It looks fine, but the angle is steeper than it looks! And you will find that it will take more effort to get them up it. I do not recommend the 2-foot ramp if you're going to use it for a 6-inch rise (get a longer one, it'll require less effort and be safer.)The unit is super easy to use, just unfold and set. I do wish that it came with a built in carry handle to make it even more portable, but it still gets the job done. The longer units do come with carry handles, but the 2-foot one doesn't (as least mine didn't). There are also safety pegs should you need to use them to secure the ramp in place if you're using it for more of a permanent fixture in the home.Overall, these are great for overcoming small rises around the home. At just over 12lbs, the unit is also portable and can be slipped into the rear footwell (propped up against the rear seat) or cargo area. They are pricey, but they will may life easier in the long run.

I ordered the 2ft ramp to help make temporary ramps over curbs and other short thresholds. Per ADA, this is only appropriate for a 2in or shorter rise, however even with an 8in rise, it's helpful for stronger wheelchair users or to assist someone in a wheelchair. It would also be adequate for someone in a scooter getting up an average curb. I like that it's portable and well made, but you have to be careful not to pinch your fingers when you close it. You won't be able to use this on a threshold where a door opens toward the ramp unless you open the door first. This could have been addressed by cutting down the sides a bit more near the ends of the ramp.
