This book is really good for decoding certain words. By the end of the stories, my child felt more confident about making the long vowel sound when he spotted a silent e at the end of a word.The author provides relatable stories that children can read with or without pictures. She also lists questions to guide teachers or caretakers as they check for retention and understanding.
