She loves Japan and she loves puzzles.She's so far worked on it for about 4 hours and still has a little way to go.Some of the pegs are really tight and broke but it wasn't a big deal. One I did work on for about 10 minutes before just using a nail file to file it down. One peg was important and we used super glue to put it back together. Those were pretty minor though overall for how much there is to do, her age and this being her first build like this.It's looking really pretty already and very neat with the little accents like the swinging gate.She has been loving it and even I think it looks pretty cool.Update: she has been absolutely thrilled at all the details this has. The little tea setting in the window and I don't even remember what all. She was working on it tirelessly before she left for summer camp and there's still more to go when she gets home. Such a good choice!

This seemed like a relatively simple build to start, but is pretty intricate! I had a lot of fun putting it together(though there is a lot of branches and cherry blossom sections to glue dot on). The instructions were easy to follow and the pieces were good quality. Nothing broke as I popped it out of wood sheets. There are so many details in this design that make it so fun. Great addition to my bookshelf!

After TRYING another similar DIY wooden craft and ending up frustrated with patience GONE, I decided that the other ones I'd ordered were just not for me. With visual only instructions and delicate, easily breakable thin wood, these types of DIY projects are for people with a lot of patience and a gentle but firm touch. Also, hope you know how to read and understand visual only instructions which have these blue/red codes on some pieces, because they are not explained. Since many of these pieces are really tiny, I would say these types of projects require very nimble fingers, and mine are arthritic and not reliable. There are some replacement pieces, but not for all of the pieces. That made me nervous. I was hoping I'd love doing these, but they were not relaxing at all. It's a lot of fussy work where you HOPE you're reading the directions and assembling correctly. Just not for me! If they ARE for you, this particular project will look lovely.

This building set comes in a beautiful packaged box. Warning that the pieces are very small. It requires a gentle touch to remove the pieces from its frame and also installing them to put together.For my daughter it has been two days and she is slowly building away at the base. Not very difficult to build but some of the instructions could be better. Everything in the instructions is visual. You find the letter/numbered part and follow where to stick it together. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to understand what goes where.The pieces are think so you have to be careful not to force things as it may crack or break. We had a few broken already and used some glue to attempt to repair so we then had to wait for it to dry before continuing.So far the quality looks amazing. It is beautifully designed and painted. You will need to be patient and careful to finish this set. Will update once we are done and hopefully ours looks just as good as the photos I e seen!

This was a fun kit. It definitely is very beginner friendly. The kit took me about 4 days, and I spent approximately 2hrs per day working on it. Some of the limbs were a bit frustrating to install but nothing a little bit of glue couldn’t fix. I did appreciate the double sided tape. The materials were mostly sturdy. This was a good built.

I love working with the Rolife "puzzles". As a crafter I have found that this brand has a certain degree of difficulty, yet is very easy to put together. I am looking forward to this project and many more.

The media could not be loaded. I am absolutely obsessed with these wooden puzzles! I find them so relaxing to do! This is my 3rd one and by far my favorite. It took me 2 days complete but I love it!If you have patience and steady fingers this is the project for you. The end result is worth it! This particular puzzle had 50 pages. The instructions were pretty clear and I love the little tips that it included. The little movement pieces are fun added touch. The pink leaves have a glittery side so in the life they shine a little bit. Can’t wait to do another Rolife puzzle!
