I’ve been using the AJAZZ AJ139 V2 MC Gaming Mouse for over a month now, and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance, build, and convenience. From the sleek design to the responsive sensor, this mouse delivers on all fronts and the included charging dock adds another level of ease that makes this one a must have for both gaming and work setups.Unboxing & First Impressions:Right out of the box, the mouse felt lightweight and premium. At just 66g, it’s feather light but doesn’t feel cheap or hollow. The matte black finish has a nice smooth texture and doesn’t attract fingerprints. The RGB lighting on both the mouse and the charging base adds a stylish touch without being overly flashy. It looks professional enough for a clean desk setup but still gives that gamer vibe when lit up.Performance:This mouse is equipped with the PAW3311 sensor, and I can confidently say it tracks very accurately. I tested it across multiple surfaces, including a desk mat and a glass tabletop, and the responsiveness was consistently sharp. The adjustable DPI (up to 12,000) is perfect for gaming, especially when switching between FPS and real time strategy games. It also handles regular productivity tasks smoothly, making it a versatile choice.Battery & Charging Dock:One of the standout features is the charging dock. It’s compact, RGB lit, and displays well on the desk. It uses magnetic contact points to charge the mouse, and the LED indicators let you know when it’s charging. I connected the dock using a regular USB C cable and it started charging immediately without any hassle. The 500mAh battery has been holding up great I’ve only had to dock it maybe twice a week with moderate to heavy use.Connectivity Options:The mouse supports three wireless modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz via USB dongle, and wired mode. I personally use it via the 2.4GHz dongle for gaming and haven’t experienced any lag or dropout. Switching between modes is easy with a slider on the bottom.Comfort & Buttons:The ergonomics are surprisingly good for a medium sized mouse. My hand fits naturally over it, and the clicks feel solid without being too stiff. The side buttons are responsive, and the scroll wheel has nice tactile feedback. No misclicks or delay in input at all.Compatibility:I’ve tested it on both my Windows desktop and MacBook. It works perfectly on both systems, with no driver installation needed. AJAZZ is an underrated peripheral brand that I have some experience with, and this mouse is clearly a step in the right direction for them. While lightweight, it feels very high quality, and the design with the AJAZZ logo and LEDs is quite nice in my opinion, if a bit understated. The buttons are satisfying and clicky, the scroll wheel works well, and the sensor seems to be just as good as the Logitech or the Corsair computer mice that I have used before.I really love having a dock for this mouse. I never knew how much of a game-changer this would be. As a newbie to the "rechargeable mouse scene", I have been docking this mouse every night, and in a few days of use, have had no problems with it at all. I suspect the dock & rechargeable mouse combo is the way to go for me in the future, though personally this mouse is a little too light for my preferences so I will probably not use it as my primary mouse over the long term.Unfortunately, where this mouse has some trouble is with the software. I was not able to get it to work on my computer. It is rather sketchy to acquire, and the instructions don't help clear this up too much (why are they so small?!). That being said, most of the adjustments, such as to the RGB or DPI, can be done on the mouse itself, so this is not too much of a problem. I ended up deciding to take one star off of this review because I truly think the biggest hurdle for this company to clear is software integration.In gaming, it provides solid performance, with very little latency on 2.4 GHz, and the DPI-adjuster button makes it very convenient when jumping in a game to just raise up the DPI if needed. For productivity, I always appreciate having "back" and "forward' buttons on the side. This mouse goes to "sleep" a few moments after use, and I have never had an issue with it registering my inputs immediately after wake. I also appreciate that this mouse can be used wired via USB-C (two high quality cables were included - love it!), wireless via Bluetooth, or wireless via the provided receiver.All in all, the MechLands AJAZZ AJ139 is a solid mouse, but I would be prepared to only be able to adjust settings at the hardware level - the software just is not there yet, unfortunately.
