This was the first clear protein powder I've ever tried, and I wasn't disappointed. It's important to note that if you use this powder in a blender, it will foam up like crazy - but after a few minutes it will settle and the foam will dissipate. If you use a shaker bottle, you might experience some clumping and foaming, but I don't mind this as much. The taste is very sweet. The best part of Ghost protein is the macros- with only 100 calories for 20 grams of protein, this is a great choice for those on a calorie deficit looking to increase their protein intake. You can drink it alongside a meal without becoming uncomfortably full, unlike regular protein powder... though be aware it is more filling than drinking an energy drink, water, or juice.The blue raspberry flavor is so strong that it might become tiring if you're drinking it every day, but if it's part of your roster of other powders it’s a great way to break up the tedium of getting protein in. I would recommend this protein to anyone looking for a lower-calorie, clear whey-based protein supplement. I've also mixed this powder with creatine with no issues. I will also note that I have not had any digestive issues. Overall, this is a solid choice for a protein supplement, especially if you're looking for something outside the realm of the standard chocolates and vanillas.

After years of doing no serious weight lifting, I'm back to working out again and have gotten my bench press close to 300 lbs., but getting enough protein to rebuild muscle is a problem. It would be almost impossible for me to get enough protein through natural foods each day, so protein shakes play a critical role.However, I don't want the added sugars or other fillers that some protein powders have. Thankfully, this Ghost whey protein isolate is pretty much just protein - 25g per serving - with zero sugar and zero trans/saturated fat. It also has only 100 calories. I'm not sure how they managed to make a whey protein that has such a minimalistic nutritional profile other than the protein, but it's pretty great.Beyond that, the flavor, orange cream, is really interesting. I don't think I had ever seen whey protein come in this flavor before, and I love orange creamsicle, so this is right up my alley. I wish more protein powders came in fun flavors like this.On the negative side, the included scoop is kind of wide. In fact, it's wider than the mouths of the water bottles I bring to the gym, so I'm going to have to figure out a way to pour the protein without making a mess every time. Also, it does seem to foam up quite a bit after shaken - especially at first - but settles down eventually. These aren't major issues, though, so I still think this Ghost whey protein is pretty good. As for value, there are other protein isolates out there for less money, but it's hard to find one that has a nutritional profile to match this product.

This powder is great in that is tastes incredible, it's high in protein, and allows me to drink the protein throughout the day day without chugging some thick chocolate shakes in one go. Now I get to sip on my protein all day, and this is especially nice as an option in the summer since I can throw some ice in and make it even more refreshing.The downside is that there is sucralose in this product; an ingredient that seriously needs to be removed from supplements like this. Sucralose kills gut bacteria and is generally speaking terrible for you. It's so hard to avoid and I don't expect anything more or less from brands, but I'm going to put in these reviews that it's basically the only downside to the product. (The only other thing is, be sure to ass powder to water not water to powder or you will end up with a bunch of rock hard balls of protein powder you're chewing on).Overall, I recommend, but with hesitation given the ingredients list. Please make a change to the formula that includes the removal of alternative sweeteners.

Sometime getting enough protein in my diet is difficult. Most protein powders are chalky, have that taste (come on, we all know THAT taste) and in general you can drink but aren't great.I decided to try Ghost after seeing some videos on different social media sites. This one is a little different. This is a clear whey protein. I had no idea what the difference was when I ordered it, but when I first mixed it up it was obvious. Clear whey is a lot thinner. You don't get that thick drink you're used to, this stays more the consistency of juice/water (depending on what you mix it with I suppose). There is also, NO chalky taste or odd after taste. This Orange Cream mix tastes very similarly to an Orange Julius for those that remember those. It's like a liquid Orange Cream ice cream bar almost.This does take some mixing and I've resorted to using my milk frother to really get this mixed. After that, let the foam relax and then just drink. You will NOT regret this. It tastes so good, I'm going to start giving it to my 8 yr old who doesn't really like meat to help up his protein intake.

Clear whey protein?! I had no idea this existed until very recently. I'm familiar with the brand Ghost, but it looks like they just got into protein. This protein is unique in that most whey proteins come in your standard chocolate/vanilla/strawberry. This flavor, Orange Cream, is almost exactly like their energy drink in flavor. Only 1 gram of carbs and 25 grams of easily digestible protein makes this a premium product that I'd consider buying again. One thing I will say is that it's mostly clear for real, and when you shake it up it does foam quite a bit and take a few minutes to really settle back down. But overall it's extremely easy to mix and enjoy!
