Set arrived in good condition - each piece was wrapped well and protected from breakage. The sifter, whisk and scoop are all well-made and very functional. The bowl and spout are a lovely color and the glaze has a nice finished, smooth texture. This was a great and complete matcha set and made for delicious matcha. I’m glad the whisk came in a separate plastic tube - after it’s first wash it was put on the drain rack in a way that started to squish it together, but after a rinse to rewet the bamboo we were able to help it restore it’s original shape and we’ll be storing it in the tube to help it retain it’s shape.

This set is very economically priced and ready for gift-giving. It has all the tools you need to get started brewing that perfect cup.The pale green ceramic has a high gloss finish that is perfectly executed. I tested the spout which provided an even, consistent and splash-free pour.The bamboo whisk sits securely on the holder and the bamboo scoop is well formed and sized for two scoops. Most importantly, the sifter is a fine mesh which will really make it easy to get those lumps out of your powder. This is a huge plus over higher priced sets I've seen where the sifter has larger holes. This set is just such a great value!Be sure to look up instructions online as none come with this set, but it is well packed in foam to ensure it arrived with no damage.
