This is a good energy shot that adds in that little bit of a kick. The grape flavor is good on its own, or added to a seltzer to make it more of a mixed energy drink. If you have ever had a grape sports drink, the flavor is very similar to that. The packaging is easy enough to open, some other ones the safety seal takes all the energy from the drink to open, but this one is secure but still lets you get in there.

I haven’t consumed any 5 hour energy shots in years, and when I spotted these in grape flavor (with vitamins!) I wanted to try them out. Back when I’d take them for a long drive or double shifts, I’d always get Mixed Berry flavor and it was pretty gross. I’d just slam it back and chase it with water or any other drink to get the taste out of my mouth asap. Grape was no different. I tried it in a few sips so I could fully get a fair take on the flavor, but I don’t like this flavor either. Those of you that enjoy these, you’re a different breed. I might try one cold next time, but I highly doubt it will improve the flavor for me.Caffeinated beverages have never given me the shakes or energized me, they just make me less tired. If you like 5 hr energy, you’ll like these I’m sure, you’ll get some vitamins with your jolt of caffeine. The price was pretty steep, I don’t think I would personally purchase this amount for myself. I’m going to keep these in the fridge and grab one when I’m particularly drained.

This energy shot tastes great, and works fast. I think I prefer the regular strength, but it is hard to notice much of a difference between the two. I can be alert without feeling jittery in no time, and I love the grape flavor. I use 5 Hour all the time, and it helps bring up my energy when the day drags on.

I am such a caffeine addict that I always keep an energy shot sitting on my nightstand to take as soon as I wake up. I have tried many brands, but the 5 hour energy are definitely the best tasting. I was worried that the grape would taste like cough syrup, but it is more grape soda than medicine tasting. The 200mg of caffeine gets me going until the early afternoon and I take another to help get me through the rest of the day.These don’t make me crash, but I am still able to fall asleep as soon as I close my eyes. I also like that they include vitamins and they are probably what helps prevent feeling a crash. These are also a better price compared to buying them individually.

I grab my 5-hour energy when I need a quick boost, especially before workouts or busy days. The flavor’s solid, sweet but not too artificial. It gives me a clean energy lift without the shaky or wired feeling thanks to its quality ingredients. The bottles survive well in my bag and don't leak which is a big positive.I like having these around since they keep me from needing a big cup of coffee or energy drink. They’re a bit pricey, but still cheaper than buying drinks out all the time. Overall, a nice way to get a solid energy boost when I need it.

Pretty solid convenient energy packed shot. Will the immediate price tag shock you? Probably, but take into consideration the rising costs of a single can of an energy drink or a sugar/fat loaded coffee shop stop. So for the price and the fact that this has vitamins with a dose of caffeine suitable to keep you going without keeping you up at night, I'd say it's fair.Taste wise, I really enjoy sweet drinks so this fits the bill for me. I even mixed it with some sugar free cherry limeade electrolytes powder and it tasted amazing! Two birds with one energy stone right there!Effectiveness wise, I found this more effective mid-day versus morning. I typically take a pre-workout in the morning with my cardio routine so taking this lower dose of caffeine mid-day reduces the chance of me being restless at night. Took two shots one day (morning and evening) and was pretty restless lol BUT the bottle does warn you about dosing.One side note, not sure which vitamin it is in this, but I find myself urinating a neon yellow glow after taking this. lol No uneasy feeling on the kidney or anything but the color was pretty shocking at first.
