It was perfect and delicious. The ratio of the filling/chocolate was excellent. It arrived fresh and not melted. The packaging was protective and it had a cold pack inside to prevent melting. I’ve tried a few of the Dubai chocolate bars from Bolo and none of them quite tasted the way I wanted. This Dubai style chocolate bar, and everything I ever purchased from Philadelphia Candies, has been beautifully packaged and has tasted fantastic. Their quality is outstanding. I will be purchasing more and sending them out as gifts.

This was so good!The way it was shipped blew my mind... Packaged with ice packs and in a padded box... Was so not expecting that for 1 candy bar! I'm in Texas so I fully expect anything I order to melt.. this arrived perfect... 1st time trying Dubai's chocolate bar and I am in love ... The chocolate was perfect ... Not your usual American chocolate and the filling ... Yummy.I will be ordering more !!Thank you for a very surprising pleasant experience!!!

The milk chocolate coating is perfectly sweet and creamy, and the Turkish pistachio knafeh/kunafa further enhances the sweetness of the treat with a rich, nutty flavor and creamy texture (with visible pistachio chunks mixed into the shredded phylo pastry). Altogether a great sweet treat for those who love milk chocolate and more than enough to share between 2 people. I personally recommend freezing before enjoying, but it can also be enjoyed at room temp. I was so excited to break off a piece of the chocolate bar to try it that I forgot to take a picture first.On price, this is a great price for a Dubai chocolate bar, which includes the cost of shipping (other competitor products are more expensive when shipping is added in). On the brand, Philadelphia Candies is a highly reputable and established chocolatier out of Western Pennsylvania (a home-grown US company still operated by the same family that founded it) and has a history of producing and selling all kinds of chocolates for over 100 years, so I trust that their chocolate products are going to be high quality.

Received melted. Minimal pistachio fluff inside. The picture is not accurate to what you get. It has very good flavor, but I would have preferred it to look like the picture with that much pistachio filling. Big huge box tiny little 3.5 ounce bar.

Unfortunately, the “warm weather shipping guarantee” is one that shouldn’t be extended to certain parts of the country at certain times of year… like Florida in the spring, summer and even much of fall.This item arrived top of June melted, despite being very carefully and conscientiously packaged with cold packs, etc. I guess supply chain logistics is what it is, mang. But that doesn’t nullify the promise of receipt of a product in good, if not excellent, condition.Given that this latest darling of the gastronomical world is so sought after and is such a high cost item, I felt it prudent and fair to leave this review as a caveat emptor. This bar could be an excellent take on the chocolate, but I’ll never really know, because the Dubai chocolate bar is one that relies so heavily on the aesthetic and textural experience, which has been entirely compromised here. I stuckThe box in the fridge overnight in an attempt to rescue some of that experience, but whomp whomp. Once the filling has migrated from the interior to the exterior of the bar, which it did when it melted, there is no way to save the bar by cooling it again. The filling doesn’t solidify and is kind of doing a gooey two step sliding along the inside of the packaging of the unopened bar. Ah, to be blessed with such devastating first world problems, I know.And the complimentary chocolate bar was a kind gesture, so two stars for that, but even it was extra that the warm weather guarantee could not save from a melty fate.

Flavor was great not to sweet an not bitter in side could’ve been a bit thicker it is pretty thin an smaller than i thought but has a great taste the design was nice texture pretty good definitely could be a tiny bit cheaper though but I would buy again so mixed emotions about this one

UPDATE: They sent me a replacement bar immediately and it was not melted and was delicious so I changed my rating. What admirable customer service! Chocolate was delicious and so was the filling, but could've had more filling. Unfortunately we had to put it in the freezer, because it was melted. I might re order if there was a guarantee that it wouldn't be melty

Skeptical to order food online BUT shelf stable so I took the risk and I am glad I did. The chocolate is so very good! I loved it. It was packaged well during the summer and arrived perfectly ready to eat. They also sent a free chocolate bar that was also very tasty. I get the price as it is appropriate for everything it takes to ship it.
