The media could not be loaded. Bought these to use with my Dr. Pen Ultima A1 and—aside from making me feel like I was doing skin surgery at home—they work great. The packaging is sterile and sealed (which is exactly what you want), but I’ll be honest: I fumbled around like a raccoon trying to open a Lunchable. I couldn’t even tell which end was the right one to peel, so I gave up and just ripped it open.Then came the “how do I attach this to my pen without feeling like I’m breaking something?” phase. Spoiler: it clicks in firmly, but not intuitively. If this is your first time swapping out cartridges, expect a bit of trial and error. Once I got it on though? Smooth sailing.The actual microneedling performance is on par with more expensive brands. Sharp pins, consistent depth, no wobbles. If you’re microneedling at home for acne scars or texture, this will do the job without dulling out after one use. I’ve reused a cartridge once (I know, I know), and it still held up.If they tossed in a tiny instruction slip or diagram, this would be a 10/10. As is, it’s a high-quality product with a clumsy learning curve. Still buying again.
