I’ll admit, I don’t possess the knowledge or experience to truly determine if a castor oil is of good quality, but Bare Anatomy 100% Pure & Organic Castor Oil sounded like it had promise as I read through the description.I’ve tried multiple lash serums. While they were effective, they also irritated my eyes. This even happened with those made from “safe” ingredients. I then discovered that it’s recommended to just use castor oil. It’s said to be the best thing that can be used, and it won’t bother the eyes like most serums. If I was going to use it next to my eyes, I wanted an oil I believed to be pure and good quality. Bare Anatomy checked all the boxes: it’s 100% pure, cold pressed (no hexane), has no chemical additives, and is USDA organic certified. It’s also cruelty-free. This was the kind of product I’d been searching for.Apparently, the company realizes that customers won’t all be using this product for the same purpose. They included tools for different applications, a wand that could be used for hair, lashes or brows, and a small brush for precise applications such as cuticles. I really like that. There’s also a dropper which could be utilized for applications or measurements. I have had really embarrassing postpartum hair loss, including my eyebrows, and have tried all the over the counter products for hair regrowth without any noticeable difference so castor oil was the last ditch effort to try and finally regrow my eyebrows and hair around my temples. This kit comes with everything you need for hair, skin, nail, and brow and lash applications: a spoolie brush, small, fine brush and a dropper. It’s convenient and easy to apply.While it’s still too soon to speak to the speed at which it helps hair grow, I can say that I’m noticing immediate effects via less brow and lash hair shedding/falling and that the skin around my brows is less red, smoother and softer. My eyebrow pencil works a lot better for an even application in the morning if I use the castor oil at night. It also doesn’t feel overly sticky or tacky along my hairline/temples when I use a small amount with the spoolie brush and doesn’t leave me overly greasy looking after rinsing.I feel like it’s so nourishing that it is helping the literal root cause of my hair shedding: dry, dull skin and hair follicles that needed extra TLC after the total hormone shift from having a baby. Longterm, I feel like this will actually be the one product that works. Short term, it’s helping immensely in preventing further hair loss.

Excited for the oil itself, but very disappointed that the included dropper was just loose in the box and had been shattered. Small shards of glass everywhere when I opened the box. At least if the dropper was sealed the broken glass wouldn’t have gotten everywhere.

I use castor oil on my hair and skin for hydration, and this a really great one. My skin is extremely dry, and sensitive, so I’m always trying to find products that will hydrate, but not cause an allergic reaction. This castor oil worked very well in moisturizing the dry patches on my face, and also really helped my dry, frizzy hair. This is a really nice castor oil! It has a minimal ingredient list, is certified organic, and didn’t have the typical heavy, medicinal scent that some other castor oils have. If you’re using it for lash and brow growth, the package contains a spoolie brush, and a felt tip applicator.

I started out using this oil on my eyebrows and eyelashes, then started using it on my face and neck. My skin feels hydrated and it doesn’t bother my eyes. I also started applying to my belly button. I’m only adding a few drops to my belly button, because I’m literally terrified to put more lol figured I would proceed with caution. If you know, you know…I’m happy with the way it looks, smells and feels. I didn’t need the pointy applicator, so I threw that one away, but I do use the lash applicator. The packaging was well thought out and designed to prevent leakage, which is nice.Love that it’s organic.

I've been using this castor oil for a few weeks now and I'm really impressed! It's thick, rich, and feels very natural. Since it's cold-pressed and unrefined, it has a pure scent and texture, which I like. I've noticed my eyelashes and eyebrows looking a bit fuller, and my hair feels stronger. I also use it on dry patches of skin and cuticles—it works great for moisturizing. The fact that it's USDA certified and hexane-free gives me extra confidence in its quality. A little goes a long way, so even the small bottle lasts a while. Overall, a great all-purpose oil!

My lashes are almost non existent as I get older. I’ve heard good things about castor oil. I haven’t been using long enough to notice a difference in my lashes. But my cuticles are super soft. I like that it comes with a lash and eyebrow brush.
