Back in the day people didn't have to worry quite so much about getting their drinks spiked. You'd hear about it, but the reality was that the things needed were too expensive or difficult to get, and it was much easier to just have the target overconsume alcohol. That isn't the case nowadays and what used to be more of a boogeyman is now a very real concern.You get a large amount of these. I don't have a way of testing these out for positive confirmation, so I decided to look into the company. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find much about this company. A search didn't bring up anything and there is zero information about the company on the bottle. All I have is that the listing states the item is made in China, so I have to assume that the company is also located in China. That doesn't mean that the product wouldn't work, but it is a bit concerning that there's no footprint for this company.I'm going to be generous and give this three stars. I don't have a way to prove that it does or doesn't work. I can, however look at options that have more information about the company and their efficacy. Offhand it looks like most of the ones with this information tend to charge more per strip. I would just recommend that you shop around and do some research beforehand. Honestly though, just having these can give a good peace of mind. I do want to give a quick note about test strips in general, however. Be aware that studies have shown that tests like this can be thrown off by the type of drink and the pH level, regardless of the strip's quality or pedigree. So while these can help, you ultimately still want to be super careful about your drink and who is near you.
