Some dips in base from uneven sand also. It gets stuck when by itself. When I’m in the pool and water is moving around it runs around and works amazing! Ran it today for over an hour without dying.

This so far has been doing an excellent job on our pool! No hassle with the hoses, filter, pole etc to do manually only to lose time and water. Just push the button and let it go! Once I remove it, I clean with the hose per instructions and charge it up again! Highly recommend at a great price!

I got this to help keep our pool clean in between a thorough vacuum. It seems to do well on the smaller stuff and I mainly wanted it for keeping most of that stuff off the floor. Since it's cordless and easy to charge, it makes it so easy to use daily if you want. For the price compared to the super powerful, high dollar robots, this one seems to do pretty well on a budget.My Star Rating Scale:5 stars - Perfect, or as close to perfect as possible and would definitely recommend to anyone.4 stars - Works well, but could see some minor changes that could make the product better. Would recommend to others.3 stars - Functional, but areas of concern or major changes that could make the product better. Recommend researching other options. OR, neutral ranking, nothing really special or bad about the product.2 stars - Barely functional, recommend researching other options.1 star - Avoid at all costs!

Good pool vacuum.
Good pool vacuum. Can do my 24’ round pool in one charge. Pool must be relatively clean before using, not full of leaves etc. Not great for the beginning of season. But knowing the limitations, I am happy with the daily cleanup that this robot can do.Seems to get almost all spots.No major issues.

I'm looking forward to using this cordless and rechargeable pool vacuum this summer in our 24 foot above ground pool. This model has been updated to prevent any corrosion of the recharging contacts by designing a non-sealed contact housing. It's recommended that you use a cotton swab to dry the contacts but if it's sunny outside they will dry on their own. We keep our PH balanced and don't run the chlorine too high so i'm not anticipating any issues but likely i'll dry them after it cleans just to be on the safe side.Charging the unit is very straight forward, and takes about 4 hours. The centre of the unit has a removable fine mesh screen container. It catches sand, pollen fluffs, small tree debris, dead bugs at the bottom of the pool, and small to medium dirt. It has two suction bars along the bottom where dirt enters and is trapped. This would not pick up regular, tree leaves....so if you have an oak tree close by those leaves you'll still need to net out. This unit is perfect for quick "clean-ups" in between regular vacuuming, at least that is what we are planning to use it for. It doesn't scrub algae or anything like that...just small-medium loose debris.Our pool has a flat bottom but this unit is designed to handle angled bottoms of up to 15 degrees, and can be used in in-ground or above-ground pools. It's safe to use on PVC, vinyl, tiles, or gunite pool surfaces and liners. It can also be used with pools that are 30 ft. diameter or under. It's very light to move around or to carry it to our deck to recharge. It's easy to remove with your pool pole and hook attachment.My only consideration is that it's not designed to suck up any large leaves. I feel that this is a good unit to use in between more thorough cleaning with a regular bristled vacuum brush, especially if you get algae like we do. It will certainly vacuum dead bugs and sand at the bottom of the pool and freshen things up. It's automatic so you can drop it and it'll go right to work, especially if you have other things to do but want the pool to look it's best for when your company arrives. Something I'm going to appreciate is being in the shade while this does all the work!
Excellent for the price, but lacking in features.
I honestly cannot believe that you can get a pool vacuum for this price, that is incredible. It does work very well, but there are a few items that I would definitely look for in my second pool vacuum. Number one a charge indicator, because this one only shows a red light when it’s charging and a green light when it’s charged. I don’t even know how long it takes to charge, but it’s a long time it seemed. Another thing, the vacuum when the battery is about to die or it needs to be charged, which seemed to be about an hour, it just goes to a wall and sits there. If you’re entertaining guests, it’ll sit there a while before you notice it. Then you have to go and get it and often you’ll even have to go in to retrieve it. Not the end of the world, because like I said at this price point, you can’t beat that! And for that reason, I would absolutely recommend this. This does clean up the pool very nice, although it won’t pick up any stubborn debris. And when cleaning the vacuum, it’s actually quite a bit easier than you think. All you have to do is take out the fine mesh filter, and just give it a spray with your garden hose. The vacuum seems to be a little bit quicker than some other units, which is also why I think that it may be has a difficult time with the more stubborn debris. Pros and cons, but I think the pros far outweigh the cons. I would definitely recommend this.
Easy to use and works well
I have a smaller spa which has a flat bottom (no built in seats or anything). The bottom tends to always accumulate small particles (kind of like sand) over time which is hard to clean up. I got this pool vacuum to help clean up this stuff.The vacuum exterior is pretty much all plastic but feels very sturdy, there are clips in the middle to separate the motor part and the bottom part which is where the dirt goes. There is a nice fine mesh filter between the two halves. This filter sits on bottom part using magnets, this makes it super easy to put back on. It also comes with a hook so that you can easily pull it out of the water from the handle, I don't need it as I can reach down but would work well in a pool. Using it is a simple as turning it on and putting it down in the water. The vacuum is simple as it just drives forward until a reaches a wall then reverses direction. This allows it to go back and fourth to eventually cover the entire pool/spa floor.I am happy to say that this little vacuum does a very good job at picking up and trapping dirt particles. After it is done cleaning, simply pull it out of the water and drain it. Opening the two halves, you can see the filter did its job as well as the dirt remaining in the bottom of the vacuum. I use the hose on the filter the rest of the vacuum to clean it up, super easy and quick then back on the charger.Overall I am super happy with this pool vacuum cleaner, it is super easy to use, no app or subscription required, and it just works. Cleaning and charging it is also a breeze, I definitely recommend this for anyone with a flat bottom pool or spa.
