Post hip replacement surgery savior. Helped me get on the bed. I needed height but not the height of a regular bed stool. Glow easily and perfect height i needed.

It’s the perfect height. I’m 4’11 and has purchased multiple stools for me to get in bed they were too high and move as I climb into bed. I like that it glows in the dark for when get to use the bathroom

It's a solid step that doesn't move when stopped on. My bottom step on my porch is too high so this is a nice solution. The fact it glows at night is a bonus. It really lowers the risk of someone falling from a high step.

Nice and sturdy little step. Doing what I purchased it for. I got it for my husband’s PlayStation. I did test it out though. I used it to hang my curtains. It holds an adult's weight well and is lightweight, making it easy to move around. The top has a non-skid surface. There are many uses for it, such as exercising, an extra boost to reach something, a stand for something you need to keep off the ground, or a step to help a fur baby to get into the bed. It's a win for me. I ended up getting another one.

I had two task areas that I wanted this stool to address:First, I used to be able to work on ceiling fixtures and do lightbulb changes without hardly stretching. I've lost a couple of inches as I age, and some flexibility. Those chores have become uncomfortable challenges. Even the minimal lift of this low stool makes a big difference. Maybe only for a few more years, but I may be in assisted living by then, or more comfortable with calling in a grandson. Or just using a step-stool.Second, With age, muscle atrophy and deteriorating balance have made getting out of the bathtub feel more and more risky. In those last few inches, I start feeling like my back foot is starting to slip before the front foot has reached the floor. I can't hesitate at that point: I either keep going or fall. This stool makes a huge difference in my comfort and stress level. Again, another inch or two would be better, I wish it was level with the bottom of the claw-foot tub, but as it is it is very good.I got the glow-in-the-dark ("Noctilucent-grey") version because sometimes doing electrical chores, I am working with only flashlight illumination. It's nice to know where my safe standing surface is without distracting myself from the task at hand. I think it does a better job in any light of reminding where it is safe to step. Also I just really like glow-in-the-dark. The brightness in the image is after a brief charging with a powerful UV flashlight, but it shows what it is capable of.Great find

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Safety. This is a very stable, secure step up and easy to move from place to place. One of the things you don’t get much warning about is as you age, you get shorter. I got this step to allow me to change lightbulbs and get things out of top cabinets. This is exactly the height I need and it feels grippy when you are on it…there is no sensation that you might slip. Also, the surface area is big enough to move around a bit without going over the edge.This is a waterproof piece so if you need it in the rain or even in the shower, it works just as well. The weight limit on the step is really high and almost nobody will exceed it. If you need to hang on to something to get on this, there is no option to attach something but you could put a cane alongside it.This would be a thoughtful gift for someone you know who struggles to reach things just out of arm’s height. They shouldn’t stand on things like books. They need a tool designed for the task. As far as getting a little bit taller, this is it.

I am 5'2" and I have trouble reaching all of the clothes in the bottom of my washing machine. I've tried using reachers, but it takes a long time to get all of the clothes out one small grab at a time. I would much rather use my hands. My wash tub is about 30" deep and this step stool gives me just enough extra height for me to comfortably reach the items in the bottom of the tub. The construction feels sturdy and it is easy to store because of its slim profile. The non-slip rubber surface has tabs that fit into small slots all the way around. I noticed one tab was out, but I was able to put it back in easy enough. I just hope that does not turn out to be a chronic issue. Something to note is that one of the pictures on the product page says that the height is 3.8 inches tall, but another picture says 3.35 inches. The latter measurement is more accurate. It is 3 3/8" according to my measurement.
