5.0 out of 5 stars It Fits A Raspberry Pi 5!
You pretty much get what you see. The materials aren't bad, and the instructions are pretty clear for assembly. The sides and bottom aside from the frame itself are made of acrylic. I mounted a Raspberry Pi 5 and it has a well thought out design--the Pi 5 has USB-C ports adjacent to the USB-A and ethernet port, so you mount it to the mounting plate with the board aligned to the sides, but it will only fill up half the plate space (probably a good idea).It also certainly fits mini pcs (at least the ones I have) and shows it can fit 4 of them in the instructional pictures. This only comes with 2 mounting plates though (same as pictured). You can get more but it's from the same manufacturers I believe. If you want to mount a Raspberry Pi that has a mountable case on it, you might need new screws as the screws that come with it are for a caseless Pi.For the most part if you want to mount a raspberry Pi (or not) and other equipment, or just an array of mini pcs, this works as intended and has decent functionality. Whether it gives you good value for your money will depend on the price--it will depend on the price at the time and how much YOU value having the rack (or being able to pick up the pi + other connected devices in one go).

The media could not be loaded. I would have given this five stars if they provided a .5u power ups for my pi cluster and a little tiny wifi router.. but I worked around that . It's a great product and I enjoyed building it I would recommend filing the handled so they sit flush as they are a bit crooked. Slight oversight on design but worth every penny.

I am incredibly impressed with this product. Like, really really impressed. This might be the nicest non-high-end-tech product I've had my hands on in a while.First, let's talk about packaging. They nailed it. I haven't seen something packaged this well since I bought high end tech. It's well organized, well protected, and just has a good feel.The kit includes the screwdrivers you need. Who does that any more? So nice.And the actual product? Wow, so well made. The tolerances are SO good. Everything lines up perfectly, and it feels like a really quality product. I think my wife might have thought I was losing my mind with how impressed I was putting this together.The value here is really good. You get two shelves and the unit, with handles and feet (that will actually stay on, not those dumb stickers). I can't use the shelves since I'm running it as a 10" rack, but still pretty cool they're included.The only knock I have for it (and this is nit picky because of the quality of the rest of the design) is the way the handle mounts is just not as perfect as the rest of the unit. It's a little hard to describe, but the place where the handles mount is an uneven edge. To correct for this, they have you put these rubber washers to level it out. This leads to a very slight gap around the edge of the handle that just isn't as nice as the rest of the unit. I honestly don't notice it, but this feels like they discovered the handles didn't work and tried to make them work instead of designing the handles with the ledge in mind.I am super happy with this, and I'll be buying it's big brother for sure. Highly recommended.

I am a newly transitioned mini pc lover. I have several of them now, most attached to the back of monitors. I built a media center in my homes main drop closet but I still needed to have some of the units in my office and gaming area. This was the perfect solution. It was easy to assemble, good directions that are easy to follow and detailed. Included extra screws and parts, I didn't need them but it was nice to have in case I did. 2 options, 10 inch horizontal or mini pc size vertical with 2 shelves included. I went with the vertical so I could show off my PCs. The mini tower is stable and has good rubber feet to keep it in place. It is made from very high quality materials and packaged in a very professional box as to ensure no damage to any of the parts. It arrives clean and without any imperfections or burs. Assembly took about 20 minutes taking my time and it looks phenomenal on my desk. There is good airflow thanks to the vented shelves and plexin glass along with an open front and back. It looks so nice you don't want to hide it in a server closet. This is for showing off on your desk. I cant say enough about how great this mini pc rack is. It fits a need perfectly and looks do darn nice. Kudos to the builder. Its a little expensive but it is WELL worth the price considering the value and engineering that went into this. This is not cheap IT gear. This is something that was well thought out and made by people who obviously appreciate a quality product. I only wish it had some branding stickers I could apply to show off the manufactures work.

Good design mini rack but with some cooling limitations
The cabinet arrives impressively packaged and feels compact yet solid. You can immediately tell there’s something substantial inside. One of the first things that stands out is the high quality craftsmanship of the components. Every detail appears to be well thought out, and assembly is actually quite fun.A big plus is that it can be configured in two different sizes, making it adaptable to your needs. However, when using the wider setup, you’ll end up with less available rack height. Thankfully, the handles can be repositioned, and depending on whether you place it vertically or horizontally, you have flexible mounting options.What I didn’t like is that the ventilation design wasn’t fully considered for horizontal placement. The cooling holes are on the sides. That’s not ideal, since warm air rises. It would have been great if an extra perforated top panel had been included for better airflow in horizontal orientation. Right now, the top is completely sealed, which traps heat.Another point to consider is space. It's very tight inside, so you’ll need to measure carefully. In horizontal mode, you get only 3U of usable space, which may be limiting depending on your setup.As for the price, I find it slightly high. Every module or accessory adds up, and in the end, the total cost of the cabinet and add-ons gets close to the cost of the actual hardware you’re installing, which isn’t ideal.
DeskPi cabinet !!!
Great product. Not cheap but it's extremely well built. It's strong, sturdy and simple to mount. It even includes all tools required to build it.Absolutely fantastic!! I'm amazed and will definitely buy more products from DeskPi.

Avevo bisogno di organizzare meglio la mia postazione domestica dove tengo alcuni mini PC e dispositivi di rete sparsi qua e là. Dopo aver valutato diverse soluzioni, ho optato per questo rack della GeeekPi principalmente per le sue dimensioni compatte e la versatilità di montaggio.Il prodotto arriva smontato in una confezione decisamente curata - quasi sorprendente per un accessorio del genere. Le istruzioni sono chiare e tutti i componenti necessari sono inclusi, persino i cacciaviti appropriati 🔧 Il montaggio richiede circa 20-30 minuti senza particolare difficoltà, anche se la gestione di tre diversi tipi di viti può creare un po' di confusione iniziale.La qualità costruttiva è solida: i pannelli laterali in acrilico traslucido hanno un bell'aspetto e permettono di vedere i dispositivi all'interno, mentre le mensole perforate garantiscono una ventilazione adeguata. I piedini in gomma mantengono bene la stabilità, anche se non ho ancora testato quanto reggano con il rack completamente carico. La possibilità di orientamento verticale o orizzontale è un bel plus, considerando che molti rack simili sono fissi.Devo ammettere che inizialmente ero scettico sul design "esposto" - sono abituato a nascondere l'hardware - ma il risultato finale ha un suo fascino. L'unico aspetto che mi lascia qualche perplessità è il sistema di montaggio delle maniglie: richiedono delle rondelle di livellamento che creano piccoli spazi sui bordi, dettaglio che stride un po' con la cura generale del prodotto.Il prezzo non è esattamente economico per quello che è, ma i materiali e la versatilità giustificano in parte l'investimento 💰 Sicuramente una soluzione più elegante dei soliti supporti improvvisati che usavo prima.
