The ingredients are top notch, and I love the way it feels going on. It does seem fairly hydrating. I guess in my mind, it’s either for younger skin or for people with normal to oily skin. The challenge I have is I’m a skin care maniac - I have a pretty extensive daily and nightly anti-aging regimen and have tried nearly everything under the sun and thought this would slot nicely into the middle of my routine. With this, it leaves a slight film or tightness on my skin, which doesn’t make it ideal for daytime use, and for nightly - it’s a gel serum, so it should be early in the steps, yet the film is almost semi-occlusive, so not ideal for additional layers without pilling (or waiting forever for it to dry beyond tacky).So, while I think I would’ve loved this in my 20s / 30s when doing simple toner + moisturizer, it’s just not a great fit for me now with a layered routine. There are many things to love about it - so I wish it worked for me, and I will hang on to it for nights where I have no time and want to throw on one or two products before bed. I gave it 5 stars because I do think it’s a good value, great quality product that would work great for many. In fact, I’m so impressed with ingredients, in conjunction with the HA, I’m going to try the gel-cream version which is less occlusive and should layer well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Another face product that who knows if it works but love the feel of it. I have extremely dry skin and for a while this feels amazing. I thought it was priced well and the gel consistency wasn’t as thick as it looks. It smooths on great and you don’t need a lot. I don’t smell anything when I’m using it. Feels good to me.

This stuff is like a drink of water for your face. I’ve been using it overnight and my skin feels softer, smoother, and looks more refreshed in the morning. It’s lightweight, not sticky, and layers well with other products.Definitely a win for glowy, hydrated skin!

This wonderful gel is so refreshing. My skin instantly feels hydrated without a sticky residue. I love using it prior to bed, I just apply a small amount before my night cream.

I am really beginning to question myself as a self-proclaimed skincare conniseaur, that I was not aware of Arencia prior to sampling their products from vine. WOW... all I can say is, wow. Arencia has quite possibly become my #1 favorite across-the-board skincare brand of all time, seriously. At least, that is within a reasonable price range! I have tried a range of their serums and every single one is a hit - so much so that I intend to purchase the ones I was not lucky enough to recieve via vine!They call their products serums, and I actually do find that the consistency & efficiency lives up to that of a serum. I ADORE that they are in pot form (similar to a lotion), and the consistency is so elegant and beautiful on the skin!! Seriously. Such an amazing bang for your buck - this Deep Water Serum absorbs QUICKLY & is SUCH a delight to apply! Easily compatible with makeup products, much more so than nearly any other similar product I have tried. The absorption is INCREDIBLE, really it only takes maybe 60 seconds and it's totally entered my skin, leaving zero residue behind.Incredible product with a beautiful gel-like consistency. Excellent hydration without any weird residue or film!100000/10 recommend this product and quite literally ANY other by this brand. Incredible, amazing, astonishing... dare I say, perfection?
