If you're really paying $1-2/oz., you're probably not getting the product you thought you were buying.For reference, I like "Crispy Fruit" Mango from the grocery store, but the packaging is stupid (but cool.) Non-resealable individual packages, so you have to eat all of them. I often like just a few. Hence this type and quantity are my sweet spot. Especially if they're as good as these are.

This bag of freeze-dried mango looks really old — the color is dull and it doesn’t look fresh at all. As soon as I opened the package, there was this musty, stale smell, kind of like it had been sitting around for way too long or got exposed to moisture. It definitely doesn’t seem like a freshly made product. I tried a small piece, and the taste was off too — none of that sweet, fruity mango flavor you'd expect. Honestly, it made me uneasy, so I didn’t dare eat any more.

I love mangoes and usually have dried mango stocked in my pantry. These are the first freeze-dried mangoes I got, and I am somewhat on the fence when it comes to the texture. Don’t get me wrong, those mangoes are fantastic. They are very flavorful like ripe mangoes, they will probably do better in summer since they have less water content, and they have a crunchy texture. To a certain extent, they feel more like eating candy than some dehydrated mangoes do. However, while I like the texture, I am not sure if I prefer the chewier texture of dehydrated mangoes. I still give it a 5 star rating, since this product is well-made, tasty, and very convenient.

Oh wow, these mango slices are my new gold standard for freeze-dried fruit! They're bursting with flavor, and the texture is that "perfectly crunchy yet melt in your mouth" consistency. And after I grabbed a few slices, my picky eater teenager has claimed the rest for himself. (Yay for fruit and veggies that he'll eat!) Absolutely five stars!

The freeze dried mango snack was great and even my six year old daughter enjoyed them. The mango taste bursts into your mouth as you chew each piece and the yummy mango taste lingers a little after you finish it. This is a great snack to take on the go or to break up and add the pieces into a trail mix.

Mango is my favorite fruit. I prefer fresh mango, but sometimes they are hard to get. They can also be hard to eat if you are out of the house (on a hike, in the car, etc). These are sweet mango that has been freeze dried into crunchy planks. They travel well. They taste great... sweet and tropical as you'd expect from a mango. The texture is different than fresh (crunchy vs. soft and creamy). The best by date is about 23 months out. There is no ingredient list so I am left to assume that there is no added sugar or preservatives (gonna knock off one star for not making it clear). These come in a jar with a cute carry handle. I love that ... not sure if I'll carry around the whole jar, but I like it none the less. My only complaint is that these are going to disappear fast in our household. Overall, I am very happy with these.

Dried mango in big crunchy slices. Tastes all natural with some variation piece to piece. I really liked their mango because sometimes dried mango can be somewhat flavorless and this had some good flavor to it.

Great price and nice amount. I really enjoy the packaging. The mango slices were nice and thick and it made them super crunchy. If you are into mango slices these are the way to go.
