5.0 out of 5 stars Accurate, Quiet, Just the right size and grinds the perfect grains!
After returning another grinder that couldn't do the job, I went right to the French Press area of grind settings on this one because that's the gain size I use. I set it to 30 (out of the 35) max. It produced grains perfect for Chemex (see photo) and I am sure somewhere between 32.5 and 35 you can get a good French press worthy grind. It's the perfect size and has a motor that doesn't have to loudly rev up to grind beans (and wake up the whole house). The hopper is a very good size and coupled with a very accurate cup dial (a cup being 5oz here, not 6/8oz) it works well. I suggest you set it a bit over, so the grinder can shake out any residual gains into the receptacle, and you can avoid a cleanup situation. Leftover grains will fall out when you remove the receptacle otherwise. Contrary to other reviews, the top DOES come off the receptacle for easy pour of the contents into the coffee maker of your choice. Everything fits well, and you can remove and insert them easily without force. A perfect price point IMO and if I find anything wrong with going forward it won't be a dealbreaker! I highly recommend this grinder for anyone who want a smooth, full tasting cup of coffee. And, if you use the 30 grind grains in your regular drip coffee maker will give you a smooth, wonderfully enjoyable cup too!

His coffee maker is a great offer. It has ample settings to grind your coffee to your choice. It took me about three times to get the right setting to make the perfect pot of coffee. It's quiet shuts off after it's done and I really like that the cup that receives the ground coffee is anti-static. It is easy to take apart and clean, takes less than 5 minutes. I make a part of coffee everyday and clean it twice a week. It's easy on the counter next to my coffee pot it looks great. I would highly recommend this product. I look to quite a few coffee grinders and this one gives you the best bang for your buck.

This coffee grinder works well. The design is compact so it fits perfectly in my small kitchen. It has a good amount of grind settings for all coffee needs. It's easy to clean you use the included brush to clean the inside and just wipe it down to clean the outside. I got it on sale so it's a good value for your money. But I took off a star because it is very loud. It looks and feels strongly built.

I fill my own pods for the Nespresso machine, and was receiving a powdery grind to a fine grind. This was too acidic to drink straight, but I do like a strong but balanced brew.I realized what a grand difference that both the grind size and uniformity has on the coffee flavor. In my usual beans, the difference between grind 15 and 20 was huge. The drip grind has choices between 15 and 25. The 15 is going finer toward espresso and the 25 is the beginning of the course grind for French press.The 15 grind was slightly acidic, having more surface for the water to flow past, and the 20 in the middle was much more balanced.I usually simply add raw cocoa powder for the polyphenols, and now because of the balanced brew, I use no creamer;I can drink it straight or enjoy it chocolatety.The volume is slow and consistent low gear motor and grind. It is much consistently quieter and has less noisethan the rotary power grinds. Sometimes at 5 AM I would walk out to the back porch just so I wouldn’t wake anybody up with the rotary grind.It’s easy to use and clean. I can pour unground beans back into the dark sealed bag. I grind up enough for 16 to 18 Nespresso pods for a production run fill.It includes a small brush to fit around the grinder to clean up as well. It is well designed for easy cleaning.Coffee quality is important to me, so the $70 spent is good value for my money because the coffee is consistent and always perfect for me.I will always use a machine like this from here on out for smooth and consistent grind size.

After searching for weeks to replace my coffee grinder, I took a risk and bought the Shardor Conical Burr Coffee Grinder. It arrived in it's box a little dinged up and the product inside looked like it had been returned because of the way it was wrapped and taped. I was skeptical about the grinder. I put it together (easy), rinsed out the hopper and receiving cup and made my first cup of coffee this morning. No mess, no static, no loud noise like my old one, and the coffee grinds were perfect for my French press. My first cup of coffee was delicious. I will let you know how it holds up in the future, but for now I am giving it 5 stars of deliciousness!

I buy coffee beans, not pre-ground. This little grinder does a great job. Just dial in the size grounds you want (ya need to experiment here) and it makes perfect coffee. Just dial in the grounds size and how many cups you want to make and this does it all.Easy to clean, too.

Excellent coffee grinder, different setting for different types of coffees or amount, compact, perfect to have over the counter because it doesn't take a lot of space, easy to clean, super easy to use, nice clean design.I'm a coffee lover that likes to grind coffee in small amounts to enjoy the nice smell and flavor every time. Store bought pre-packed coffee doesn't taste the same.

Worked great for a month then stopped working. I notice it is no longer available. Of course it lasted two weeks past the return date.
