I am famous for forgetting to turn the dust collection on. I built a new woodshop and I'm trying to get the dust down on my miter saw so this works fantastic, turning the shop vac on within seconds of squeezing the saw trigger and shuts down seconds after the end of the cut. I hate shop vac noise so I now don't have to listen to it in between cuts. My electrician suggested it and it's perfect for me.

I have been using this switch for a week, and so far, it is working as advertised. I attached a 4 outlet power strip for the “tool” outlet so I can plug in my sander, miter saw, and table saw and whenever I turn on that tool, the shop vac automatically turns on. When I turn off the tool, the shop vac runs for an additional few seconds before it turns off.Very pleased so far. If anything changes, I will update this review.

Stopped switching the vacuum outlet after one month, on both the On and Auto switch positions.This is my second Ortis switch. The first, a different model, lasted a year and a half and failed the same way.I thought I'd give it chance and buy again, trying one of their different models hoping for a better quality build.This one failed just a day after the 30day return period. Unfortunately these are not worth buying if they fail so fast and I will be going back to turning on the vacuum manually.

I have a shop vac hooked up to my miter saw. Back up, really sick of trying to reach under the counter to flip the switch on and off whenever I sawed anything. Now I don’t have to worry about it. I put my work on the saw make the cut, the vacuum turns on, then it runs for a bit after I walk away to suck up all the extra sawdust. It’s exactly what I needed.

Works great. I'm using it to turn on an LED coffee sign when my coffee maker is turned on. Good value for the money. Easy to use, similar in size to other products of the same type. It has a plastic housing but seems plenty durable for its purpose.

El peor producto que puede comprarse para el propósito que dice servir, casualmente el producto se daño y quedo inservible a los 32 dias de la compra y ahora es imposible hacer algún reclamo o solicitar alguna devolución, no recomiendo a este vendedor que vende productos con los que estafa a sus clientes. Este vendedor debería ser demandado por la pésima calidad de productos que comercia, nunca volveré a comprarle algo a este deshonesto vendedor.

Thought it was great at 1st however I burnt out 2 DeWalt vacuum 's while I used this for my CNC, I turn my vacuum on manually for last month and didn't have a problem since.
